They should! Rockford auburn produced Fred vanvleet for Wichita state. They really have a good basketball program here in town.

Monty has always been good at recruiting, its just they are deciding to come now that we aren't bad.

The two Wisconsin kids will be good players. The kid from Rockford will probably be a back-up for a couple years. I would not be surprised if he ends up leaving.

Jesus the kid hasn't set foot on campus yet and you're predicting that he's leaving? Awesome

I do like your recruits. Not as much as ours, but I'm also highly biased.
We've had the discussion in our forum more than once about Monty building a program at NIU. Personally I believe he will be hired elsewhere if he ever hits the 20 win mark. Throw in the fact that izzo is his reference and I really believe he will be hired elsewhere if he reaches the 20 win plateau. I'm not sure how I feel about that. Ball st and Miami are MAC royalty in regards to ball and both programs have had serious winning problems in the last decade. The MAC, especially the West, needs as many strong teams as possible. Monty staying at NIU helps that. If he leaves, I'm afraid it will set NIU back significantly.

Armour, yes that may happen. Kids want to play right away and when they don't many leave. That is why over 40% of freshman are gone by soph year. Orris and Baker have the pg spot covered.

Also, I said I wouldn't be surprised if he left and with college bball players I am not surprised anymore when they transfer.

Thats awesome! I think it brings a new life into the (soul less) Convo. And helps recruits pick us!
