Ah, sure, yet we do have “boots on the ground”. It’s a fiction that we don’t. Not calling them “combat” is pure sophistry. What will the Obama regime do if a pilot is shot down? A non-boot on the ground adviser kidnapped? A rebel “ally” shoots down an airplane?

“The tempo of our strikes, the intensity in all likelihood will be greater in Iraq and Syria,” she said. “But the fact of the matter is this is different from the previous wars in Iraq and from Afghanistan in that there not be American combat forces on the ground fighting on the ground.”

No, I don't like war. My brother wants to attend the Navy Academy and my youngest brother wants to join the Army straight out of high school. I am scared to death for them, they are braver than I am. I couldn't fight in a war, but I know that sometimes you have to fight if you want to live in peace or for your way of life.

No one "likes" war. It is unnatural to kill other human beings.

But sometimes, war is necessary.

If America goes to war, it needs to go ALL IN and not half-@ss it, or try to limit the ROE.

Owl69 has consistently and CORRECTLY preached, *IF* you choose to go to war...you better go in to win as convincingly and as quickly as possible. The objective is to win. Win = kill the enemy in mass numbers and destroy their domain (country) until they completely surrender.

With the military knowledge, training, resources and firepower America possesses, wars should last at most 18-24 months and be done. Any war lasting > 2 years means the will to WIN was not there. Politics is interfering with war; that is a disaster and gets US military presonnel killed for NO GOOD REASON.

Vietnam was a huge lesson to my generation. Never go into war halfway committed.

Why do you want the beheadings to continue?

Haven't you learned anything? They want is to go to war with them so that they can kill more of us. Two beheading doesn't compare to several hundred soldiers if we go to war again
