VERY NICE WIN TODAY!!!!!

That was a dominant performance, especially in the 2nd half.

Tough trip across country into an odd venue and the Broncos handled it well.

We are going to once again have the MAC FOY in Kalamazoo this season. Franklin is an absolute beast. 330 yards in 2 games, are you serious?

Got that monkey off the back and now can concentrate on getting win #2 next week at home FINALLY.

Congrats to Coach Fleck and The Broncos on a well deserved victory

Yes sir. Coach Fleck had the men prepared today and they played great. Keep the momentum going.

This is a great win for the team and staff. The Kibbie Dome is not an easy place to play. They were well prepared and appear to be growing as a team, one step at a time.

Dont jinx it. The kid has the talent to win it, but he has to play in enough games, i.e. don't get hurt.

Yes, I thought our big mouthed hair gel coach had them well prepared.

I like that they are limiting Franklin's reps. Keep him fresh.

How many carries did he have today? All I know is that he was a man in the 2nd half and the last stat I saw was 161 yards.

And youre right CD, don't want to jinx him, but so far its been pretty impressive.

I had to watch the game on my phone in the middle of big Leland Michigan so I really didn't get to see much. The results were great and I was impressed. We should give PJ and staff a one week extension! This is a good win. Looking forward to how we compete with our brethren in the MAC.

Great day to be a bronco.

33 carries yesterday.

His stats through two games are ridiculous.
52 carries, 374 yards (7.2 ypc), 6 TD's.

Chance is pretty quietly doing well too with 11 carries for 57 yards.

Credit to our offensive line. They are rockin' it right now.

"one week extension", ha ha.

A win is a win, and is progress, even over a 1-13 team.

Now take care of business vs. FCS team in Waldo. Long time since we won a home game.

Yeah the O was on the field a lot and we mostly RTB. But Daryon is getting reps on most series, so Franklin is getting a breather most every series.

Averaging 26 cpg which is still a lot for a freshman, agreed.

OK to ride a winner, but I think they are aware not to ride him into the ground.

Pj and his staff need to prove that this was not an aberration. The team needs to improve week to week. Good jump from first to second game but this one win doesn't make the season a success. It make this week a success. I see that and I will get in the boat.

Agreed.

Have always said I will judge our programs against how we do against MAC competition, especially CMU and EMU.

They looked good on offense. Only punted once and we ran the ball well. Do that, you win. Game seems easy with an experienced offensive line and a good running game.

I like they got Davis back into the game.

But, I think Robyn said only receivers to get stats were Davis and Braverman. Maybe they were 1 and 2 checkdowns and open, and we didn't throw much, but we need to keep broad involvement from receivers.

I feel better about Purdue game after watching them run well against ND.

Theres no reason to be to effusive with praise but its much better to have a fairly sizable win over an FBS opponent and some things to correct going forward than what we've experienced the previous couple of seasons. There will be games this year when our offense is going to be the best unit on the field and that is going to make for a more watchable product this fall at the very least. Clearly this is not a complete team. The defense is frustrating to watch at times and thats against lower tier offenses. I'm not sure what is going on with some of our kickoffs but that seems correctable. Hopefully its going to be fun to watch this young team grow up and get better this year and by god win some games along the way.

FTFY.

Two seasons ago we were beating UConn and giving Minnesota hell in a close loss before AC went down. Even then, we ended up with four wins.

Yeah two years ago when we gave up 60 to Toledo were you on the game thread ripping on the secondary and the coaches. When all those guys got hurt against UConn were you inferring it was due to training? When we lost to Minnesota did you spend two weeks saying how Minnesota was the worst B1G team you'd ever seen when they barely beat an FCS UNH team? I'm guessing no to all of those. But hey keep up the game of blasting the coach and the program and pretending how good the program was. Maybe Tom Cubit will come back and give you more rep points.
