No but there are a couple Air Force bases in San Antonio and I know they promoted it there.

There are several bases in San Antonio, Army and Air Force, no naval bases that I know of. This is military appreciation day and I think 1,000 tickets were given away to armed forces personnel.

Georgia State hosting Air Force
Idaho hosting Western Michigan
Troy hosting Abilene Christion

Outside of Georgia Southern, Air Force will be Georgia state's highest attended game this year.

I know it's a 3 hr drive but they could have reached out to CCNAS. Hell, I would have headed there to help out with a promotion. I only live about 10 miles away.

Well, we aren't hosting.. but it is closer to home than even Statesboro for a lot of us so it is sort of like a home game.

And we are helping it reach near sell out numbers, who knows what the walk up sales will be.

It isn't like this happens every week, even for ACC games - only UGA and not many others.

A win in this one would cause a huge surge in our fan base growth and help boost our attendance numbers the rest of the year. We are going to need it with two Thursday night games.
