Coach told lots of people to get ready for new uni's every week of the year. We wore the same thing last week as vs. UNH. I heard UC was going to be a whiteout for Toledo...but UC is doing white. I also heard we did not have the gold helmets any longer...so black is doubtful for us. What should we wear? What would everyone on here like to see?

Agree!!!

Definitely a victory, but speaking uniforms, I like the midnight blue pants, gray jersey's, and midnight blue helmet. All white would be cool, but Cincy is doing a whiteout for this game.

I was thinking Blue jersey with Grey pants. Same thing we wore vs. Akron in 2012. It would be higher contrast vs. the UC whites. Who knows what we are doing though. Wish a UT EQ dude was on here.

Who cares what we wear. I just want to win football games. Find something for home games and away games, and then wear it.

Some of us are good multi-taskers and can worry about both without affecting the team.

Some people are interested in the aesthetics. Most other schools advertise every week their uniform combos. And they usually unveil their main sets in the preseason. It's a fun thing. Meanwhile, we had one crappy twitter pic from the EQ guy and that was it until game one. Sorry, no fun here...

And your second point - unless one of us here on the board is a player or coach in disguise, how are we as a board worrying only about what it takes to win going to influence Friday night's result?

solid black jerseys with white outline and blue fill in for numbers would be cool.

maybe have a repeating design with a translucent/ faded picture of the bell town in the numbers???

and on the helmet put rocky on there some how.

I'd laugh if Toledo got to wear white because we planned on it when UC did all the white promo stuff and ended up wearing different jerseys.... There fans would look like Toledo fans! Just a thought....

Do you guys have a sense for how many Toledo fans are coming down to Cincinnati for the game? It sounds like a glorious weekend to enjoy the festivities at the Banks, go to a museum, go to the Banks, OTR, etc.

UT rec'd 1500 tix from UC. It sounds like some were sent back. I know some fans on here have purchased tix on their own. I would guess about 1000 Rocket fans. I think the fact that the game was moved to a Friday Night is making it more difficult for some.

I think they should outlaw college and NFL games on friday nights. It's for high school. You know that a lot of people have sons and grandsons playing on Friday nights. Now on the uni's I allways liked it when we used the gold pants. Very kool
