Interesting tidbits from the presser:

"construction will start during this season, with anticipated completion being July 2015"

"Centennial Stadium will include 18,000 sqft of club space,300 club seats,40 love boxes,20 private suites. New concourse restroom facilities!"

"Mizzou game will stay in jonesboro and will open the facilities in september"

"All private suites and loge boxes are already sold"

I went ahead and updated the thread title to reflect the rest of the announcement

Final donation is 5 million dollars from a single individual, plus 4 million dollars from the company that owns the naming rights to the stadium. Total of 9 million dollars.

This money has enabled Arkansas State to keep the Missouri Game in Jonesboro. Construction will begin immediately to ensure the facility is ready in time.

44 restrooms and a brand new team store and concession area will also be added.

Now ready for the endzone facility announcement.

If the club seats sell out (suites and loge have or are right at it) the renovation will lock in $1 million in revenue per year for at least seven years.

For those who like to watch USA Today budget numbers, that million will not show up on our ticket sale reports, you pay the booster club, they give you a pass to go up there, premium seat revenue will not go into ticket sales reports.

Troy renovated a few years back, Texas State upgraded big time with the move, GaSo is doing a big upgrade, App St. has been upgrading incrementally for years, UL is upgrading and expanding... the many projects we have going on will allow us to keep the SBC overhaul going.
