Jackson is more of a Never was.... has been implies he once was a strong political force which is not the case.

And before Tom attacks Ben for his faith and the same sex marriage issue. Ben says get the government out of the marriage business all together. Gays can have their civil unions with all the constitutional rights everyone else has and people of faith get their biblical marriage and freedom of religion ..... everyone is happy with a Dr Ben administration!!!

I agree with you. Jackson was never much of a candidate for much. Its one of the reasons why I see a tinge of racism in people on the right who constantly bring him up as if he is relevant in the Democratic Party of today. People in the Democratic Party see him as a Dinosaur and a relic of a long distant past.
