Saw this discussion being kicked around on another message board. Figured I'd bring it over here.

Just a simple question: who was better in their prime: Seger or Springsteen?

Obviously, Springsteen became the bigger star of the two, but was he really the better artist?

Seger put on some great shows, and was very good. Springsteen is better IMO.

springsteen is better but has gone way off the blowhard artiste chart so i would rather listen to seger these days
