Tell us precisley how this situation is Bush's fault.

Was Iraq largely peaceful when feckless leader took over?

Was Hussein (the Iraq version, not ours) going to live forever?

I sure remember Truman whining and crying like a little biatch about the mess FDR left him...

Yeah, "JV" team and all.

That JV team has left him with his mom jeans down around his ankles.

But how could all this be? What happened to "Our planet begins to heal"? Doesn't everyone remember the fake Greek columns?!? The Nobel PEACE Prize? 03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao

Noticed that no one knows how to solve the situation. It's easy to blame Obama, for everything, yet it's harder to put solutions on the table.

He is already bombing them. Do you want to put more American lives at risk against a hidden enemy? And what happened when you stop ISIS, and then the next group comes are you saying we have to be in WAR for an unlimited amount of time?

And not saying Obama is a great Commander in Chief.

RE: ISIS Tweets Gruesome Photos And Threats Against the USA, Vow To Blow Up Our Embassies
The problem is that the Mideast is incredibly tribal, to an extent that is difficult for westerners to comprehend without actually going there and seeing it live. It is so tribal that attempts at democracy evolve to either strong man dictators or chaos. Strong man dictators are better, no matter how bad those dictators are.

Abandoning the Shah was a mistake. How did that turn out?
Overthrowing Saddam was a mistake. How did that turn out?
Overthrowing Qadafi was a mistake. How did that turn out?
Trying to overthrow Assad was a mistake. How did that turn out?

We need to get ourselves out of the business of picking winners and losers. Number one, we're bad at it. Number two, even if we pick the right guy, he's not going to turn out the way we want him to.

And we need to quit trying to make these countries democracies. It won't work.

As for the current situation, we need to ask one basic question. Is it worth intervening with overwhelming force? If yes, then intervene with overwhelming force. If no, then stay the hell out. The road from advisors to limited bombing to more extensive bombing to limited troops to more troops to hopeless quagmire has been well staked out. Don't follow it again.

So the choices are:
1) Let them kill each other until they get tired of dying, and live with what comes out of that, or
2) Be the ones doing the killing.

Support Israel the only working democracy. Give up on the Palestinians for that are just as tribal as the rest of the middle east. Not going to change that.
With hold monies from any ME country that may end up in Radical Islamic hands. Provide no weapons except to Israel.

Noticed no answers from you on how to solve it.
We live in a Great Nation that allows you to be Monday Morning QB, and you dont have to step up. BTW this is not a R vs D discussion. We are talking about young men's and woman's life's at stake based on the command of this President! So I do appreciate that he is not just rushing in to put them in harms way. Having served in the military and having family members still serving I understand if your called you follow the orders and that's the decision you make as a member of the military!

Here's a major point. You can't solve anything with limited rules of engagement. All you do is keep getting people killed for no good reason until you get tired of it. Tying the military's hands with limited rules of engagement is guaranteed to fail. So either you don't tie their hands or you don't go in.

You're 110% correct. All this "don't fire until fired upon" bullcrap is for the birds and if we're ever going to be able to go in, take care of business, and leave again then our military needs one order, and no other questions asked. Go take care of business and try to get home in one piece. Lets let our trained military personnel call the shots.

No, it's when people started blaming Obama for what was happening in Iraq that others started pointing out that Bush got us into that mess in the first place.

Ehm, Obama won his first election off of blaming Bush. He won by saying he was going to withdraw and yada yada yada... And if I recall correctly, he was part of the team that okay'd going to war.

When Obama ignored the advice to him by his generals, and it turned out badly, Obama was clearly wrong, blame Bush.
