It's simple.

1) Geographically and in just about every other measure, they're the competition.

2) When I first joined here and visited the ladies over there, I was told to move along because the slum belt just didn't have the prestige and recognition of Conference-USA. And many of those making that claim were ungrateful former Belt members.

3) Most Cajun fans seem to want to join C-USA. That, I don't understand and I believe the evidence is becoming more clear each day that they're not only NOT more prestigous, but they're actually only an average football league.

4) It's summertime.

If he had posted just the CUSA video...you would have a point. But he compared the two videos. That's not wrong.

You may not agree with his methods, but he's not violating any rules.

I'm retired, nitwit. And my average posts per day is actually higher than that. I went for at least a month here back during the baseball season where there was zero coverage by Digitel.

Though perhaps you're on to something. Maybe I could be more productive and spend my time on a study about former Belt members who are happy they're gone, never think nor care about their former conference, but spend a great deal of their time over here trying to convince us they made the right decision.

I liked seeing the side by side. It was a hoot.

Conference USA and the MAC are our immediate competition. Conference USA is in our footprint and has former members so they will get more attention. It has always been discussed, it is going to continue to be discussed. Everyone ought to just chill and accept the fact.

As far as this video it's two guys that knows nothing about either of our conferences...if it's the video I think. I didn't watch it but I assume it is.

Honestly what was or wasn't said will not affect Western in any way...or any other CUSA school. Just as what was on the SBC video. I just think it's odd a man rich enough to to own and sell a fortune 500 company would be spending most of his waking hours fixated on a conference his school doesn't play in.

CajunFanatico is more obsessed with CUSA than 90% of the fans on the CUSA forum. I know he is more than I am.
