Just noticed we're sitting in the same section with the ODU band, too. Can't wait for this one.
What section is that? Is the band making the trip?

Lower Sideline 1. Not sure if the band will be there, but I noticed the visiting team's band is placed in that section based on the Carter-Finley map posted.

1. I can't imagine why not. I have never been to an ODUAA event where things have turned into what you see on the digital camera at the end of "The Hangover".
2. You are on your own for parking.

Comfort Suites on Hurricane Alley Way (Less than 500 yards from the stadium, Ramada Inn - Older hotel on Blue Ridge Rd probably 1/2 mile from stadium but neither of these are in walking distance of any type of nightlife.
Downtown hotels would be good for Friday Night as it is First Friday and usually they have live music, food trucks and outdoor movies if you were coming down early. I have no idea what these hotels charge on the weekends.

As did we. We have several rooms booked and plan on a good tailgate!

Are you able to tailgate in the hotel parking lot?

RE: NC State...
Got my 2 tickets. Section 4 (behind our bench), Row R. Staying downtown, plan on hanging out at the Flying Saucer after the game (friend recommendation). Not sure about parking and/or tailgating. I guess we'll wing it as we have received no real answers. Are there any paid lots we can drive up to and tailgate at or do you need a special parking pass to access all of the lots that allow tailgating?

I like that NC ST is playing Georgia Southern the week before us. They are having some different offenses to prepare for.

Yeah and it is really cool that the NC ST vs. Georgia Southern game is being televised right before our game.

Maybe GASO will take out the legs of some of their defensive backs and give us a chance to throw the ball the next week.
