That looks nice, especially the player's lounge and training table.

Is Fex Ex Park for Memphis baseball? That looks tiny.

Not many fans wanted to hear that it would take Fuente five years. I believe he is on schedule.

You know you are in a good conference when the basketball school (Memphis) spends $20M on an IPF and the football school (ECU) spends $17M on a basketball practice facility.

IPF is part of a $40 million athletics improvement campaign that includes an new training facility for softball, new track and field, moving the soccer programs back to the Park Avenue campus and a new basketball practice facility for both men and womens' basketball.

http://nationswright.com/projects/higher...r-facility

its all designed to bring all athletics to Park Avenue campus. the IPF went back in for redesign to take out what i understand was an indoor track component and include training table and dining hall facilities that all sports will use.

I'm glad we're finally making use of the South Campus.

Will the Finch Center simply become part of the student rec center? It would be a great place to host intramural sports.

Glad to see all of the major facility investments that AAC schools are making. With the majority of AAC schools now having facilities like this new complex, it will help to separate the AAC from the rest of the Group of Five (where facilities like this are not as common).

The AAC may not be a P5 league, but I still think that the quality of the facilities is closer to the bottom of the P5 (the ACC) than it is to the top of the G5 (Mountain West).

Yep, and this doesn't take into account the amount of work being done on campus and not sports related.

Haha.....I graduated in 2000 and lived in Richardson Tower my freshman year. A lot has changed since then. I'm jealous of all the new stuff.
