The Mini-Dome
Understand the roof repairs to the Dome, and basketball going to Freedom Hall as a result. But, after the 2014-15 basketball season, what follows for men's basketball? After the Dome roof repair, what then for that 12,000 permanent seats venue other than a practice facility? Seems strange, an indoor practice facility with 12,000 seats. The reported agreement between JC and ETSU for Freedom Hall so far has not indicated any trade offs between the city and university with relation to the Dome and Freedom Hall. With money tight, I hope ETSU finds a way to make enough off the Dome, in cooperation with the city, to at least "break even" on all the costs associated with going to Freedom Hall.

The athletics department recently posted some pics of the weight room and locker room. They both look great. The last photo taken of the weight room with the paint scheme is very nice.

Football, unless we are going to store everything at Science Hill. We will be practicing on campus.

Got it. And, on game days, both teams bus over to SH from the Dome and back to the Dome after the game? Pre- game and half-time, Field House at SH? Am I getting into the weeds to much here? Logistics guy will have to have a plan, ha.

Come on Pappy, really? You already know Science Hill is building a fieldhouse with locker rooms.
ETSU football is basiecally just taking the space it had in the dome before doofy, Lassard and wildebeest mothballed it. It's a great recruiting piece for the indoor practice facility to have a great locker room to go along with what looks to be a kick ass weight room. Be happy about this, and realize the gameday facilities will be even better once they're done!
And write the checks if you can afford them.
