I've talked for a while on the Texas St board that we need to follow the Sporting Kansas City route.

You guys might do better finding someone who could square their attendance rather than doubling it.

Sorry...it slipped.

couple years ago, the SEC hired Disney to help with attendance, to me it looks like they are just throwing darts hoping something sticks, whats really stupid is the answer is right in front o them, DROP THE FRECKIN TICKET PRICES, they have come up with a dozen excuses for attendance dropping, but they refuse to admit that middle/lower class fans cant afford 70.00 tickets, 8 dollar hotdogs, and 5 dollar waters, they are being nickled and dimed to death, and they have finally reached the point where its just not worth going to the games anymore.

One advantage MLS has though is that they target the younger demographic very well. Average Season Ticket holder for Sporting KC is 29 years old.

If College's can find a way to set prices that can appeal to that demographic, and bring them in droves, those ticket holders will hang around as they start their own families.

I never thought i'd see the day where CFB is looking at the MLS model.

It's also important to point out that the MLS is a much different league than it was in the 90's.

Smaller stadiums have helped tremendously with the atmosphere of the games and people who enjoy the games have a higher chance of coming back to them.

Having 18K screaming fans in a 20K seat statium is 100X better than 18K screaming fans in a 60K seat stadium. IE: Georgia State.

Unfortunately, as I understand it, the average demographic for CF is rising in age, not falling.

Not so sure that the marketing group for the SporKCs is all that magic.
The were champions after all.
Winning tends to be a better marketing tool than any of the clever motivators they're cooking up.

Not to mention, a school averaging 75-80k attendance, looking at a group that averages 18k, for help in that area.

You have there two groups with attendance going in the opposite direction. Specifically troubling is the fact that people 18-35 are not attending college football games in person and that just happens to be MLS's sweet spot.

It would just be in everyone's best interest that we win this year. This board, and everyone of us, will be completely intolerable.

I wouldn't be around to find out, as I'd probably jump off the roof of the Dome.

Make sure you jump South so you at least end up in the foundation of Blank's new building.

Will do. Would be a pretty cool burial spot.
