Short answer, no.
Long answer, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I feel pretty confident that my school will never be conference mates with them..

You just never know.
Terry Mohajir; "Liberty is not a rumor ...... Liberty is a little more than people think ....... their budget is about 40 million....... I like what they do....... Liberty has offered to make a financial contribution to the Sun Belt to get in ...... My concern is whether they can recruit with their honor code."
Lets see how we do against FBS App State in October, maybe we can put his recruiting concerns behind him.

Playing a transitional team does not equate to being able to recruit.
For one, it's a TRANSITIONAL TEAM.
For another, it's ONE GAME.
In general, I think that Liberty will get an invite if there is a need, and there are no other viable options. Right now, I think the AD's believe that at least MSU & EKU are viable, just not this year. Since there's no NEED for members, we can wait. In a few years? Maybe a need arises, and Liberty becomes an option. But honestly, I think in a few years, you'll see other teams come up that are less controversial (Sam Houston, Lamar, possibly one of the many that Florida Jag always talks about).

Just hoping our FCS squad makes a good showing against an FBS transition team, that has been telling recruits that for a couple of years. If so that should ease a few minds.

You should take App State off your "I Root For" section, you do it a disservice with your talk.

So who gets to move because they are ready? Every SBC team is "ready" to move to P5,I'm "ready" to serve as President.
Until the playing field in FBS can be fully visualized I don't see FBS taking FCS teams.Later than sooner......

Would think Liberty administration realizes by now that they have not had, do not have, and probably never
will have the votes to get into the SBC in the future. Hate that for LU, but just seems to be the way it has
been, is now, and will be.

Good news for APP State, he won't play until next season. If then?

Just hope we have Cox back by the time we play Liberty this year. After LU beats North Carolina in their opening game would not want to be without our best running back.
