this is impossible. Ga State does not go after the same type of players as Penn State!

Congrats. You found the ONE guy. Shut down the camps. Back up the trucks. Back them up.

Is this something to be proud of? Next thing you know ya'll will be sharing women.

I guess it's just a Southern thing, but, there's a reason behind what we exclaim...

Hail Southern and NO PLACE ELSE!

This is the kind of ignorant stuff that goes on among folks that follow recruiting. Just because a kid has an offer doesn't mean we are going after them. He showed up at the event with an LSU hat on. Great that he was there, but I can guarantee the coaches aren't going to use their time and resources to go after this particular kid.

The turnout was focused very heavily on 2016 kids. 2016 QB Josh White spent a lot of time with the GSU coaches and was also a spectator at the camp on Friday. He has much bigger offers but is an example of a kid who the coaches have done a great job of building a relationship with.

All in all this was a successful event. The Penn State coaches loved working with our coaches and we got to evaluate more than 400 prospects on the day. A number of offers went out to kids who weren't on our radar at the beginning of the day.

your coaches weren't going after him? So what happened, he showed up to a camp with an LSU hat and your coaches thought "kid seems legit, let's offer him".

Obviously if they offered him they put some work into looking at him and evaluating him.

nobody said the world would end. It just basically proved everyone's point that you, along with SBC teams, do recruit against the likes of Penn State and other big name programs. You guys swore up and down that state doesn't go after kids that penn would be interested in, and even your coach said it.

And by the way, most people absolutely did say the world would end in a big crunch when we did this.

obviously Ga State had no chance of getting this guy, but they still offered him.

same here
http://247sports.com/Player/Quentez-Johnson-35920

I like this one though
http://247sports.com/Recruitment/Tyson-C...tInterests

no, state did not offer. But app did, and not a lot of other big name power conference schools did, with the exception of WVU. If Penn State isn't in the picture on that one, a lot of those other G5 teams have a much better shot. As soon as Penn stepped in it was over.

Do you guys go after all the same guys at Penn State? No, of course not. But some of the guys will overlap. The fact that you continue to ignore that amazes me. But hey, I guess your coach just wants to portray that you and penn state have no recruits offered in common.

It's amazing you guys continue to have such low aspirations for your program.

No the world was not going to end, but it will hurt your program more and more. You will never see the full effect because you do not know what you could do on your own. You will not even know which kids Penn State takes that Georgia State may have picked up. We have told you, but you do not listen, so we got tired of telling you.

Penn State at a MAX could take 9 more guys this cycle. Even if they filled up from this camp that's only 9 out of somewhere around 300 kids! Congrats on finding one, but who cares?!

The event as a whole was fantastic! Brought all kinds of high end prospects as well as many from around the state. The coaching staffs seemed to work well together and it looked like everyone had a lot of fun. Definitely found some guys that got offers. Still trying to track down all of em.

And prospects came in groups from local high schools and they will go back to their schools talking about GSU facilities and the city etc. The world will keep spinning and our program will not get a sell imposed Death Penalty.
