Just listen to a podcast of the show he never said any such thing about AAC going to 13. But what he did say was pertaining to the 65 as he called the P5, that they are going to need more than 65 teams for the new division and he expects the American will have a seat at that table when everything is said and done.

Not so simple it's SiriusXM radio first you have to download there app on your computer sign up for 30 day free account. If you're willing to do all that, then find XM91 radio college sports nation and do a search for the Friday anarchy show...today there running like its live but tommorrow it will archived for 3 days to be accessed as a podcast

Is it the entire interview? SiriusXM likes to post bits and pieces when they archive their podcasts.

If it's true that it "slipped" and the interviewer quickly changed the topic...why would they include it in the archive? I could see them including it if the interviewer proceeded to ask him questions about it, but not if they tried to divert attention.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he did say it... I didn't hear it, so I don't know.

It was a rebroadcast of the entire show I heard, show started at the 10P CST , Tuberville interview came around 10:45PM hour or so.

It makes sense. If he had, it'd be all over the web by now and yet nothing. Oh well, I'd still love for them to add, AFA and BYU. We'd be elevated above the G4 immediately.

My guess is, I have not listened to the actual broadcast, is that it all revolves around that ECU blog. Everyone took it to gospel because they don't have Sirius and the rest is history.

I wouldn't put any credence in anything Tuberville says.

He does well coaching football, but he's just as likely to say that horses fly as he is to say the sun rises tomorrow morning. He had tons of drama going on at OM with the stuff he threw out in conversations/interviews.

I guess we'll let this be a lesson to take anything coming out of the ECU camp with a huge grain of salt.

Never understood all the BYU speculation. If they didn't come while UL and Boise were still in the fold, why would they now?

Maybe them being shut out of the access bowls? Maybe issues with scheduling? Maybe the fact that the AAC beat the Big 12 champ? Maybe the fact that we won both mens and womens basketball national championship?

Not saying I think it will happen, but right now BYU doesn't have a lot of options. We can offer a nice home and most likely still give them BYUTv content.

Hope so (OBVIOUSLY) Knight Time, but I still doubt it.

In hindsight, I guess making an effort at a coast to coast conference (Fresno, San Diego, UNLV, Boise, AFA also) is looking good now.

BYU has a lot of pride and I just don't see them joining a conference unless it is a P-5 conference. The AAC would definitely be a last resort for BYU if they had to join a conference. Fact is BYU is still going to make money regardless of being in a conference or not. Question will be just how important is it for them to have access to better bowl games. Could ESPN work something out for BYU to get access to bowl games such as the HOD, Armed Forces, etc? Or will BYU just say screw it and just take what they can get as an independent?
