I wouldn't go that far. The Irish and Italians didn't have an easy go of it either. There most certainly was Institutional advantages for 'Whites' but that doesn't mean it was easy. You could even say that didn't go away till the late 60's. But today? There are more specific scholarships available to any University based on being black than any other 'minority'. You know what you don't see? Scholarships based on being White. So Higher Education is much more accessible than in my Grandparents day.
What is going unaddressed is that schools are becoming segregated again. Not based on any Government program, but on districting patterns. Look at the racial make up of your Urban, Suburban and Rural schools. The best way to address it is School Choice but that is a non starter with Liberals. I'm tired of trying to assign blame to others than ourselves. Personal responsibility is being lost in this country. In some sections more and faster than others

considering the social experimental machine is controlled by the left, it's not hard for me to see whose fault it is.

That's the other side of the coin. It's the same thing to blame 'Liberals ' instead of looking at what you are doing. I obviously don't know you, so it's not personal, but until people take it upon themselves to teach personal responsibility it's as easy to blame faceless Liberals as it is faceless Whites.

It sounds like you are trying to find a convenient way to spread the blame around. I'm pretty sure that everyone will agree that the White Privilege Conference has absolutely nothing to do with any kind of conservative initiative whatsoever, and everything to do with guilty white liberals in general. It's laughable to suggest otherwise.

Considering the conservative ideology focuses on performance, not race it would be quite ridiculous to suggest that conservatives play a role in this nonsense.

The people teaching it? Probably not. The people being taught or attending? They absolutely can be helped. But yours is the typical response and why Conservatives can't make inroads with Minorities. Show that your ideas work by helping the minority community utilize them. When that happens there will be fewer and fewer voices trying to blame others.

America has always tried to offer people opportunity. And with great success.

How about minority communities help themselves and stop blaming everyone else for problems they create for themselves. Personal responsibility would go along way to helping. How about, Don't get all tated up or have more metal in your face than a chainsaw, learn English, be presentable. Don't have children out of wedlock and in poverty . Be an asset to the community or a company that will pay you well for your skills.

This is just a re-hash of all the anti-racism seminars that were all the rage in the mid to late 80's. FedEx made all their managers attend a two day "Anti Racism Seminar". All classes had about 20-24 managers, mixed racially and by gender.

The entire two days was listening to the black preceptor/trainer berate and insult white men. I guess this was before this current "white privilege" stigma was created. I frustrated the preceptor so bad when he began picking on me that he ultimately called me a "smart ass" in front of the whole group. It was great, LOL; proof he couldn't handle calm, rational responses to his BS intimidation tactics.

Bottom line - this white privilege epidemic is just the same Anti Racism BS packaged in a new way for a new generation.
