Federal Minimum Wage bill: Fails to get past the Senate
Senate can't get the needed 60

And the president again fails to understand what a minimum wage job is... and shows that he has NO knowledge of the job market.

Quote:"Workers who benefit from a minimum wage increase often work full time, often in physically demanding jobs. They average 35 years of age. Most low paying jobs are held by women. But because Republicans in Congress said no to even allowing a vote on the floor of the Senate, these folks are going to have to wait for the raise they deserve," he said, adding: "Change is happening whether Republicans in Congress like it or not."

Is there a president who is so far removed from reality?

35 years of age? Physically demanding jobs? Held by women?

I'll admit there are some that fall in those categories.. but how unaware of reality can this president be?

Maybe if Obama stopped printing money and slowed down inflation then the current minimum wage wouldn't need to be adjusted.

It's an attack on federalism in my book. This law isn't necessary.
