Two singles and an HBP loads the bases with Blazers ... but F-7 strands them. Whew!!

3-0, Rice ... heading to B-6.

JP saying that no one was warming up in the T6...would have thought the first two singles would have initiated some action.

4-0 now, pitching change

Ben Bullard in to pitch for UAB.

No trouble for Jon D. in T7. 3-up, 3-down. WTG!!

Jon gives up a run on 3 singles in T8. Leaves with 2 on, 2 out. McCarthy in with 4-1 lead and a save on the line.

A HBP and a double after Duplantier exits closes the lead down to 1... 4-3 Owls, still 2 out with 2 RISP.

I know The OG how much more baseball smarts than me, but...why bring in a guy in that situation, with a critical game on the line, who has had 4 consecutive poor appearances; especially when you have a relatively rested Teykl available?

He has said that he's trying to find another pitcher(s) to step up. I guess you have to give them opps in that case.
