Video screen is bigger than the court. That makes no sense anywhere but Troy.

It does if you try to play basketball in an NFL football stadium.

It has been on my "bucket list" (even before that phrase was invented) to go to a Final Four. But I will never go and sit so far away from the court. The dream will just remain unfulfilled.

College basketball has been ruined

RE: Seat at NCAA Final Four
How does the cost of a "good seat" at the Final Four on the secondary market compare to an equivalent "good seat" at the last Super Bowl?

Even if UAB goes? I mean when UAB goes.

They are both expensive.

I thought about your question and how it might be possible to get an answer, so I went to Google.com and did a search for "Search engines". There was a link to the fifteen most popular such sites. The top five are:

Google.com
Yahoo.com
Ask.com
Bing.com
Aol.com

So, there are two things you can do - you can go to one of these and search for "super bowl ticket price" and "final four ticket price" and get your answer immediately in no longer than it takes to type the two phrases, or you can post a question on a message board dedicated to UAB sports and hope someone else does it and posts it for you to read. You can go to Stubhub and get current pricing on the NCAA's, but I doubt the Super Bowl info is still up.

Frankly, at this point, you've been told "Google it" so many times that there are not many people with the goodwill left to look it up for you... but any of those five will return the desired information.

03-banghead

And yes, I know this sounds mean, but the long timers here have seen literally hundreds of such questions from the same source, phrased in much the same way. It's just not that hard.

RE: Seat at NCAA Final Four
Not overly concerned with the price of either because unless UAB is in the Final Four I will not be there.

Even if UAB does make it I would have to do a little bit of income calculations to determine if it is doable.

1 thing to note though is that the Super Bowl is 1 game whereas the Final Four is 3 games.

Thank you for your extensive and detailed information on alternative sources of information when you could have simply ignored the question as "Here he goes again", or said a +1 to MB's answer. If i am the only one who is interested in that information, I can look it up thanks to your extended research information. Have a good day.

When they take the Final Four to the football stadiums, more people have a chance to win tix in the NCAA ticket lottery. And as long as 100,000+ people sign up for the NCAA ticket lottery, expect a lot of football stadiums.

The first time I won the right to buy tickets was for the 1982 Final Four, in the Super Dome. The seats were in the nosebleed section, but watching MJ and UNC beat Georgetown was pretty sweet.

I went last year when it was in the Georgia Dome. I had decent mid-level seats and enjoyed the games. I don't think I would have enjoyed them if I had the upper-level seats. I won the ticket lottery again this year with mid-level seats again, but I sold them. I may try the lottery again for next year and see if I can win three times in a row.

Too me it was worth it to have the final 4 in the Cowboys stadium just for the following fact:
UConn has won more postseason games there than the Cowboys.

Me too. The young people here really don't know how excited the City of Birmingham was for UAB Basketball. One of the best college basketball games atmospheres ever in Birmingham was the 1982 Elite 8 at the Civic Center and UAB was oh so close to making it to the Final Four!
