Or maybe it's an 18-19 year old kid who needed an adult to explain things? Kudos to his father and Coach Kirby for talking some sense into him. It wasn't like he wanted to go to Cali to party.
The kid had been here a year... likely heard Frank throwing the program under the bus... Heard Joe say he was only happy here 60% of the time... and then seemed ready to hit the road. I have to wonder how this is going to turn out once the spotlight is on him and things aren't going so good. We'll see.
Finally someone here posting I think the real thing.. I actually posted this in a round about way earlier in the thread.. Didn't mention any names.. But it's pretty clear that after the season ends the X players that are thru playing here told the Pookster that he aught to consider other options.. This was my first thought when i heard this.. I didn't think anything about Frank though..

NO, I bent over backwards to try and get along with some here. They have no desire to get along. They like to fight and argue, they are like a pack of wolves. They get on here daily and wait in the bushes and pounce with their internet bullying style.
What are we fighting? Someone draw the lines for me. I just started reading more of the posts lately. I thought we were all Tiger fans and fans of our program.
Joe is a Memphis fan except for Pastner. He hates Pastner. Give Pastner a tiny compliment and he will claim that you think that Pastner can do no wrong. He wouldn't be caught dead doing this.
He will back up his opinions by claiming that Pastner should have known their would be pressure when he excepted the job. If you're still reading after you stop laughing, he thinks Larry Eustachy, Donny Tyndall, Tad Boyle and Rick Byrd would be way better coaches.
Prime and perfect example of what Saluki is talking about. It amazes me that so many here that want everyone here to view them as incredibly intelligent have no clue. Stammers who lives far far away from where I live here in Memphis and has never met me, can claim as if it were true (which it isn't) that I hate Pastner. I like Josh as a person just fine. He was nice to my 10 yr. old. Stammers keeps beating the drum of because you criticize the coach you automatically hate Pastner this is incredibly ridiculous. Stammers and people like him are what is wrong with any Fanbase. And stammers why don't you list all of the coaches that I PM'd you? Because you have an agenda with trying to tear me apart on this site. For the fourth time I listed Tony Bennett, Greg Marshall, Bruce Pearl, Coach McDermitt from Creighton. Stammers does not have the guts to post the whole list of coaches. Beyond lame.
I don't have the guts? I'm askairded or something? Why don't YOU post the list; it's your list. Seems like you don't have the guts. Also, Bennett wasn't on it.
I'm here for the laughs; post your list.

The posters that complain about it being pointed out that they have an agenda, proceeding to continue to make posts that are exactly the same in both content and tone. Funny.

Here for the laughs, over 90% of what you post is funny in a not so funny way. You are a big joke. yes, you don't have the guts to post the PM I sent you with the list of 15 or so coaches. You said in a PM reply to me that it was "actually a good list of names". Post the list already and stop being scared, post the response too.

RE: Pookie staying.
Again, all this drama comes down to PT. PT. PT. PT.
The rest of this garbage about former players, and Pookie being a headcase and Frank and yadda yadda yadda is just that: garbage.
Pook knows that the staff not only has Magee, Woodson and Burrell coming into the back court in this class, but that they're eyeing Markel as a PG too. To top it all off, they're looking for a grad transfer at PG.
Pookie may not love the idea of having to muscle his way into minutes, or be relegated to a backup for a year or two. Nobody would.

If you think that, then you're not paying attention. You made need to double down on any paysite subscriptions that you've currently got.
PT is the ONLY thing that this is about.

I'm glad you still read my posts ramen noodle. When you call something right about me I'll let you know, because I'm big on integrity. You like that word "Agenda", almost all of your posts have that word "agenda" in it. The funniest part of your post is the part where you say I enjoy "their constant berating of our Tigers". Been going to see the Tigers play since John Gunn. Question, why would I enjoy some jerk berating MY Tigers? Now who is the true hater? Keep trying.

That really wasn't the reason. It literally was a spat between Pastner and the Powells on where he could train this summer.

what you claim "is pretty clear" is not clear at all. But many other things are.
Whatever, keep posting what you think you know because you don't have a clue who I am and who I know!! But it doesn't matter to me one way or the other.. And by the way what other things are clear?? I'm interested to know??

I'm glad you still read my posts ramen noodle. When you call something right about me I'll let you know, because I'm big on integrity. You like that word "Agenda", almost all of your posts have that word "agenda" in it. The funniest part of your post is the part where you say I enjoy "their constant berating of our Tigers". Been going to see the Tigers play since John Gunn. Question, why would I enjoy some jerk berating MY Tigers? Now who is the true hater? Keep trying.
People keep quoting you so it is impossoble to ignore you. You are in every single arguement on this board.
It's also impossible to ignore that reputation of six that you have. Keep plotting.

Obviously an alias. They have no qualms with confusing the message by screaming the loudest.
