The band director is a hoot. He was dressed as Elvis.

Might as well live it up. They haven't been to an E8 in decades. Glad they are having fun.

Their students and fans seem pretty cool. Maybe the Tigers could get a series going with them.

Not only did Dayton beat Stanford on the court Thursday, but the Dayton band brought it, too. Outclassed Stanford's band, who seemed bored in a post-modern, ironic sense.

Hope some of our big boosters and Bowen don't let Archie Miller get out of town without talking to him. That guy is a heck of a good young coach.

Probably not remembered by most Tiger fans, but Memphis vs Dayton was once a lively competition

As the Dayton team was leaving the court the ovation they got from the thousands of their fans totally drowned out the celebrating Florida fans.

Dayton did a hell of a job. No shame in losing to Florida.

I think that Dan O may go back to the Donnie May and Henry Finkel days.

I think that May was known to the entire basketball world outside of Memphis as Don May, but for some reason Jack Eaton called him Donnie and that was adopted as his first name here.

Won me over with the Tiger fight song! I had my Grizz gear on and they were giving me high 5's and hoping we do well in the playoffs! Classy bunch and they we're a lot more vocal than the Florida fans.
