RE: Who is not renewing their season tickets?
I will be renewing mine, it is something I enjoy with my children, win or lose. Somehow, some of you seem to think we should never lose. We all knew this season would be a challenge with the league change. I think overall, we performed admirably. What I dont understand is the lack of consistency. Still think CJP needs some genuine coaching assistants that can teach and drill discipline and structure into this team. You guys are fair weather fans, I believe thats what its called, you dont bleed blue. Go ahead and leave your tickets, someone else will pick them up. We are going to be loaded pretty well next year, young but loaded. Doubt some of you sore losers have season tickets to begin with anyway. I've had mine some 17 years or so. Lots of ups and downs in that time but I have stuck with them, that why I can say I'm a Tiger fan. I've had my football season tickets over 30 years, with your reasoning, you would never, ever buy football season tickets. You would probably expect a DeAngelo Williams to sign every year. Really, I get the legitimate frustration from true Tiger fans, but a bunch of you need a box of tampax.

Games are a lot more enjoyable to watch and easier to pay for when you are at least competitive in them.

I will buy two for the first time. Just moved back to Tennessee (Williamson Co Tn) from Hog land. I'll be glad to buy someone who is not renewing for what ever reason.

I will always have mine, until I am unable to go due to health or dead. I will be here long after Josh is gone. if I can sit through tic, then I can wait this out too. he either starts winning big or he will be gone.

So yes, I will donate to the TSF and I will renew for my season tix next year in section 103. Hopefully better days are ahead. In the mean time, on to Spring football (looking forward to the season), Tiger baseball and plenty of golf. Basketball season is officially over for me, won't watch another basketball game till the Tigers first game next year....GO TIGERS!!!!

We'll said! Go Tigers!!!!

You need to research the winningest programs over the last 5 years. Then you might not expose your weakness to the world wide web.

And I can't forget Melvin, the same Melvin that used to call himself Louisville Melvin, that guy shouldn't be allowed to eve comment about the Tigers, he has never had a good thing to say about Memphis, no matter who the coach was.

you don't like me, and I am ok with that. the best thing is the thread is about who is going to renew their season tickets....and I am one that will keep going. and you cant prevent that. you can type and cut people down that don't agree with you about Joshy but you cant stop them from being fans and season ticket holders. 107A I will see you next season and the year after that and the year after that, ect.

There you go. Again calling people names for the umpteenth time who don't agree with you or who happen to not subscribe to Josh Pastner's way of coaching. You sir are a joke. If I were a mod, I'd ban your @ss.

He could certainly teach them the dribble drive offense. I played against his teams in high school. Newark Memorial, Newark Ca, he actually ran a very methodical slow it down offense. Years later he ends up coaching at Fresno City JC teaches a run and gun dribble offense and wins two state championships. He doesn't really have the recruiting connections necessary to my knowledge. He is a very good coach, his players loved him.

For all the talk of everyone saying assistants are the answer, I really do not think that is gonna work. The head coach has to be the guy not the other way around.

The loudest ones on this thread screaming about not renewing are probably the ones that don't really have tickets in the first place...

I am a MEMPHIS fan. that's the name of the school on my degree. I'm not getting rid of my season tickets period. I didn't during the Larry Porter football years and I certainly won't get rid of my bball tickets now.

If start competing in intercollegiate badminton and field a team, I will support it.

RE: Who is not renewing their season tickets?
there will be a very small downtick in season tickets after the last two seasons. Too much hype and they weren't able to deilver. Also the conference goes down in quality, so that won't help. Lower level will continue to be sold out along with club.
