Now this is a strong finish. I like it.

Heck, I certainly wouldn't mind this finish giving us momentum for a CUSA tourney miracle and win the whole thing.

20 assists on 29 made baskets. Shot over 70% in second half. Absolutely killed it from 3 point land. Our guys were locked in tonight....correct if wrong but 5 players in double figures? Nice balanced attack. Great game. ECU looked HORRIBLE and Akeem Richmond was worse than even an average player in their two games against us this year. Too bad we don't get ECU in El Paso.

Watched Brandon Stith play tonight. Can I say "not impressed"? Not sure we really want or need another project player. I could easily be dead wrong and he could blow up, but right now I didn't see anything that said "gotta have him".

ECU looked bad because ODU's defense was good!

We really got as favorable as a draw as we could have hoped for. Nearly all the best teams are on the other side of the bracket.

Another nice job by Jeff jones tonight....his in game coaching ability is vastly superior to that of Blaine Taylor.

That was a fun game. Ambrose is starting to look like a solid 3 point shooter, a couple of those shots were deep. Anton getting the last bucket was great. Ross, his jams were money.

Eh maybe in terms of the lower seeds, but I'd say the tougher higher seeds are on our side of the bracket. If we get past Marshall/FAU, which I'd imagine we should, we did not have a great game at all against Middle Tennessee before. If we somehow get past them, then we'd more than likely play Tulsa. We got spanked by both of these teams pretty handily. I hope that they prove me wrong and do well, but these are some tough match ups.

Also remember that Tulsa and MTSU were the second game of difficult back to backs, especially when you consider travel. ODU has something to prove against those teams.

UAB, Charlotte, UTEP, La Tech and Southern Miss are all on the other side. That side is clearly stacked. Tulsa was handed a gift.

Man, thanks for those photos of Odell pre game. What a hell of a player he was. It's also great to see him with Twardzik , in my mine the greatest Monarch of all time. Hope Odell gets a chance to spend more time with the players while he's in town. Those two Monarchs never, ever got out worked.

Would have loved to have Ambrose on some of BT's better teams. We haven't had a consistent money bomber since Mark Poag. The guys that we have had (Hunter, Henderson, etc.) have been streaky.

If we can get some good "back to the basket" low post scorers, having a trio of Moseley, Bacote, and Freeman is going to be scary good.

I disagree slightly on Stith. I saw a freshman with a really nice frame who attacks the glass. Sure, offensively, he's basically inept, but I think, with the way he rebounds, who could help just about any team in our league. It can be nice to have one guy who is just a workhouse and pounds the boards, without expectation of being a 15 ppg type player.

I agree, he certainly is solidly built for a freshman. Also I expect he was pretty tight with dad on the opponent's bench.

You guys are right about Moseley. He sure seems to be a keeper. Looks like coach Richardson has found another hidden gem, like he did with Baze.
