Yeah, not much, but they still said it. It was in the "Inside the Dead" segment.

It makes more sense than the mass suicide scenario, which was also the way I took it until the Talking Dead segment.

Remember the corpse with the Rich ***** sign? Makes a little more sense now.

Anyone have a link to a website with the ZASR scores for the characters ?

(ZARS = Zombie Apocalypse Survivor rankings )

The writing staff this year seems to be expecting viewers to figure some things out themselves instead of beating plot points into the viewers skull. Either because of their ineptitude as writers or the lack of intelligence of the viewers, I'd say they are failing.

Dumb writing. Why the would anyone think country club workers lynched country club members and wouldn't even give them any more dignity than to leave them hanging or ***** signs left on them? That's dumb as hell. Is there really that much animosity between the rich and what would have be the middle class that worked there. Come on, it's not like we are talking about religion, race, or nationalistic reasons. These are people that would have essentially worked with and knew these people on a friendly basis and in a nice work environment. They probably even got to play some golf there. It's not a 1800's factory or sweatshop.

You really think country club staff members such as housekeepers, janitors and cooks are middle class? Country club members can be pretty snobby. I think it is very believable. The writers didn't do a good job explaining it though

I agree with Memphis Blazer on this one. I've seen people nearly riot at an HH Gregg over $99 TVs.... there's no telling what they would do if the dead just got up and started walking around and eating people.

Man is capable of really, really awful things. We don't mind stealing their money now... why on earth would we mind killing them when the world collapses?

I worked at a country club for 5 years in college. In general, the staff was paid a pretty good wage, full benefits were provided to full timers (which most employees not in HS/College were), and members were mostly very friendly to us. There were a few that were dicks, but they were rare. They tipped us well and treated us like people. Far better than I see people working in fast food or retail positions get treated by the working class and for significantly higher salaries.

I've never made single digits per hour in my life. While my friends in HS were working for $5.15-$6.50/hr, I was making $10+ while doing a job that was actually pretty fun most of the time. I made $12-$15/hr in the summer on weekends thanks to tips.

Can't even put a value on all the free beer members would leave in the carts for us. As a 16-17 year old, that is invaluable. During large events I'd roll out of work with anywhere between 2 and 5 cases of beer, for free.

I can't speak for how the janitors liked their jobs, but they were paid pretty well for the position and I never saw anyone treat them like **** either.

Maybe I was just lucky and worked at a club with friendly people, but my experience in life is that most well-to-do people are happier and friendlier than their less well off counterparts.

I thought that the country club was perhaps raided by marauders a little bit after everything started (similar to the people who raided Rick/Carl/Michonne's little house) and they strung up the rich woman. Honestly, the employees killing them all off was the last thing that would've entered my mind.

You're correct. It's supposed to take place somewhere other than Georgia and it's going to have a completely different cast of characters; it's slated to start airing in 2015.

Here's a thought: what if the main show kills off all of the current cast members and the show is about the folks who find their remains? That could work.

That's what I thought as well. When the stuff hit the fan, the workers were at home with their families. Does anyone seriously think they went to work? I too felt that some of the club members held up at the country club and some marauders or other desperate types showed up and took care of a group of older country club types.

I'm not going to lie; I was thinking that she was going to hop in there with him.

Speaking of Beth, someone in freaking hearse took her off. This can't be good.

I liked the episode; there's nothing more to really be said. I don't think Beth makes it out of this season; she's either going to raped, killed or eaten by cannibals and/or zombies. Daryl may not make it out alive, either...

... speaking of Daryl, did anyone else hear Mika (the youngest of the two little girls) screaming for him and something/someone (it looked like a man holding an hatchet) was dragging her away? Is Daryl part of the group that may be attacking her?

There's three episodes left this season and I honestly have no idea what is going to happen next.

Sadly, I agree about Beth being killed this season. They have not killed off a major character yet since Hershal was beheaded. I guess they could be building her into a major character but I do not see it.

The key point to me of last night was that everyone has found the railroad at least (but Beth) and all know about Terminus but Daryl. However, I think the fact that they had him sitting next to the railroad tracks means he will go in that direction as well.

I'm pretty sure Mika was yelling for Carol.

RE: OT: The Walking Dead
I thought Bob was the dumbest character last night...How are you going to complain about being alone...then leave another person alone to go find somebody that made a decision to leave the group...And the person that you're looking for has a husband that they are looking for and has no real connection with you?

Was he upset that his kiss with Sasha didn't go as expected and he decided to leave her? Thought it was bad decision making.

I don't think Daryl survives the season.

I think I remember reading that some major characters would die this season. So far only Herschel has.

I do think killing Daryl would hurt their viewership though.
