No you're not! Making up things as you go along I see. How many losses does this team have against inferior teams?
I didn't say they had losses against inferior I said the don't show up. Some people should calm down and understand others have a right to their opinion too. Down at make you any better of a fan. Or me any less.
Even the 2008 team would occasionally not show up against inferior teams. Some folks have short memories.

I mean, in Ken Pomeroy's rankings, they're the SIXTH best team in the country AFTER the loss

There is so much infighting on this board it's ridiculous.

No need to beat your chest. Plenty of opinions here and even most on "your" other side ultimately want what's best for the program. If the Tigers happen to bow out within the first two rounds of the big dance, I doubt most will give a damn about beating Louisville in the regular season. It's a great win but what's remembered is what you do in late March. I see it as counterproductive on either side to put the coaches, players or even posters here down who have a difference of opinion on how we can reach our potential.

I just don't get why these people can't give the team they claim to love credit. We beat our most hated rival, their fans are apoplectic, their coach is being a jerk about it, things couldn't be more perfect. Why can't we revel in what our team has accomplished?
I, for one, am thrilled.

Just like Thursday. Wild season. And yes, I share your celebration of #17 losing, lol.
Which goes to show that the talent differential amongst the top 25 isn't all that large this season...should make for a wild bracket-busting NCAA Tournament in a few weeks...I can't wait!

Those things are not opinions but trolling, baiting and stirring the pot and I call "bull" on they are just like everybody else that just want the team to reached their potential because if it was so then they would be hoping that Joe comes out of the slump instead of knocking him

This is the first time in quite a while that I have called my dad two days in a row to talk about a game. That was a huge win, and I enjoyed every damned second of it. I know our tigers can be up and down, but I am looking forward to seeing what we can do in the tournies. I think we have a lot of players who will step up when it matters. I expect Joe's play to improve once we hit the conference tournament at the very latest, but I won't be surprised if he bounces back against Cincy on Thursday. Go Tigers Go.

I would include outside the top 25 as well. All of the upsets, including ours to Houston, show that the team that is clicking best has a great shot to advance.
Outside of Florida and Wichita state, everyone else has proven to be fallible.

You and a few others label most who's opinion varies from yours as "bashers". That generalization is the issue. I agree there are a few who cross the line from time to time but don't call someone a troll for having a constructive opinion on coaching or a player’s lack of effort.

That is super TAMM rationalization.
Yeah, no , Sherlock. MEMPHIS just beat the # 7 ranked team in America. Spin it as best you can, Meadowlark.
The truth is that it COUNTS as a TOP 10 win. That is something the NCAA tourney committee looks at for seeding. Pastner has 3 of those this year, and the win over # 24 Gonzaga to boot.
No just shut up and go lick your wounds over MEMPHIS coming back with 4 minutes to go to KICK Louisville's butt and earn that TOP TEN win.
22-7. 76% winning percentage this year for Pastner. I know that burns you and your fellow TAMMS.
Suck on it until Thursday, then root for the Bearcats.
You know, when I look at that stat, I find it amazing that we are all just hoping to even crack the top 20 tomorrow. What a joke that we are languishing toward the bottom of the top 25 with our resume, while the Loservilles and Pukes sit in the top 10 based on name. I hope we carry a big chip on our shoulders into the NCAA's and make a statement.

What years did we have the cardiac kids? More nail biters than you could stand, and it was more than a year too. I think. But we do seem to kinda feel sorry for the other guy and let him stay close for a little too long, sometimes.

Maybe not when they match up against us. But overall, they are probably still one of the top 10 - 15 teams in the country on any given night. Not sure where we should fairly rank, given our Jekyll and Hyde personality.

It's not 'from time to time'. It's constant. MOST of those who claim to offer 'constructive criticism' NEVER offer anything positive. It isn't a 'few' and it isn't 'from time to time'. THEY WERE ON HERE BITCHING AFTER A TOP TEN WIN!!!!!
