When asked about his reaction to the Michael Dunn verdict during an appearance on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” on Wednesday, Emmy award-winning actor and comedian Wayne Brady said that “the young black man is becoming an endangered species.”

“I am happy that justice was served to a degree, but what I was saying is not necessarily that the Stand Your Ground came into play in this case, but in general and with Trayvon Martin, with certain things that have happened in my home state of Florida, it does appear to me that the young black man is becoming an endangered species,” Brady said about the Michael Dunn verdict.........

Host Joe Scarborough said if a black man had shot into a car full of white teens and killed one of them, the man would be convicted.

EAST BREWTON, Alabama – A Chickasaw man who was beaten and stabbed to death in his own home was laid to rest Thursday.

Carroll Jordan died Saturday after the attack in his home January 27.

“I believe a lot of people are still angry, not only us but the people that have been seeing it on the news and on the internet too, I believe people were outraged at the way it was done and the things that happened,” said Jordan’s nephew Donald Johnson.

Friends and family attended his funeral and some who didn’t know Jordan personally.

“I just wonder what happened to people,” said Carol Ellington. “Somewhere along the line we failed.”

Three people have been charged in his murder, 21-year-old DeAngelo Terrell Smith, 19-year-old Yasmine Munnerlyn and 20-year-old Carlos Nottingham. Police say say the crime was motivated by robbery.

“I feel sorry for them that they had to stoop so low to do something like this to get a few dollars and they should have went out there and got a job,” said Johnson.

Carroll Jordan was 86 years old.

He's someone who's apparently well known (although I've never heard of him) and he made his comments on TV and not a street corner.

Wayne Brady is a comedian who I've seen on British Television "What's my line" also hosted a TV show in the U.S. but the name escapes me. It was a Karaoke type thing.

There is an epidemic of young black men being murdered in America. It ought to bring shame to us all.

The truly sad thing is no one seemed to notice until a white guy and whiite-hispanic guy (whatever that means) shoots somebody.

The only people who have declared open season on young black men is other young black men. It's a problem, and I don't have any answers, but let's keep the race baiting to a minimum and keep our eye on the ball.

Actually, 10 years ago, I loved MSNBC so much that I actually created a way to watch the feeds on my phone. Today, MSNBC is something I don't even recognize. They are obsessed with race and if you don't agree with them, then they call you a racist. That's just ethically and morally wrong and I cannot support a network that would do that.

Very true. Black on black crime is not anything the MSM cares about, but it is the number one crime being committed. Black on black crime doesn't stir the masses and doesn't create the headlines politicians and leftists want.

I was being facetious. I have thicker skin than that (and that has nothing to do with race). If you really offend me, I'll send you a PM. But, at least you believe in that apologizing for offending stuff you speak of. But, as you can see, it is just silly. I just shut down your ability to have a reasoned conservation with me by just invoking race and offense. This is issue that conservatives have with all of this race baiting. Every time someone want to have an honest conversation about something, people on the left are quick to invoke race and offense. We, as an American people, cannot have a conversation about tough issues as long as that happens.
