Four tough games (UConn today, Cincy, Louisville, SMU)
I thought the best we could do was win three of the four. Obviously we can still do that but it just got tougher. I think we can still do it. What say you?? If we do it, we are in great shape.

Two of the games are at home, that being Louisville and SMU. Both games are winnable because the tigers matchup well with Louisville and SMU doesn't play the same outside of their home floor. So that leaves @ Cincy which is huge and I don't know have a feel for that game just yet even though we know that Cincy will be favored

Tiger's will get all cranked up and focused when we go visit Cinci and their little big man coach. We haven't had one of those games in a while, and I think we're due.

I think we win the 2 at home. At cincy will be tough but its doable. They barely beat Houston today.

We might win one. Louisville is on a roll. We will be lucky to beat SMU.

If we end up 5th, do we play the #1 seed the second round? I hope not, because we will probably lose that game. The conference finals might not be well attended.

If those defeats drops us to 8th seed, then we are 1 and done at best in the NCAA.

We cannot beat one of the top 4 seeds in the second round.

Pretty sure you can still sell tickets in Memphis for two ranked teams playing at the Forum, which probably describes the last two days. It'll be well attended even if we aren't there. This ain't C-USA. It's one of the best basketball leagues in the country, and the Forum is one of the best venues. And then there's Beale Street . . .

As to losing to a higher seed, it's still a home game where we will probably be either favored or a slight dog. I wouldn't bet against us.

We can't beat, say, Louisville in the second round? Hell, we've beaten them on their home floor. We beat UConn today for all intents and purposes too. Stop crying.

We roll SMU.

Will take a split with Louise and Cindy.

Need to run the 3 others.

Leaves Memphis 24-7 heading into AAC tourney. Likely 4 seed with the above results and a game with SMU in the 4/5 game. If we sweep we could move up to 3 and possibly 2 with the Louise tie breaker. Lose 2 of those three and we are a lock for the 4/5 game.

We ain't beating Cincy on the road.

I feel good about SMU in Memphis.

I predict a loss to UL, but it wouldn't surprise me if we won.

My bottom line: if we don't get to the Sweet 16, this year has been a failure.

I agree with the last line. I do think we are going to beat cincy on the road and smu at home. the Louisville game I'm still thinking about.

Agreed....Pastner has had the big class now for 4 yrs. if he can't win and advance to the Sweet 16 then the season has been a failure.
