I told my wife this same thing. Kirk would have gotten a T or even pull his team off the floor. I'm not bashing Josh either, but I sure wish he would stand up to the refs in situations like this better than what he does presently.
Yeah! And if Cal were coaching that game, Dom would be in using some new words he learned from his coach!
And if Cal were coaching that game, the team would look very different. No Joe. No Crawford. No King. No Memphis players.
And if Cal was coaching that game, he'd probably have at least 4 players with some secret that could get the death penalty for the program if Wes screwed up (or needed a check) and spilled the beans.
And if Cal...
Cal isn't our coach. He didn't coach that game. JP did. Better check the W% by coach to refresh your memory about how lucky we are.

well it's both. Cal screams and works the refs. It's not a situation where we are bashing josh. nothing to be confused about at all.
How is that a fact? What evidence do you have?
the evidence is that Cal works the refs, give me a break, its not a debate that Cal works refs. i'm not bashing josh, I am saying work the refs. what's the problem?

Knee jerk reaction to all the posts from the Blame JP Crowd. Wrote mine before seeing the "not to bash Josh". Still, I'd rather be in the NIT w/ JP vs. Final Four with Slimeball.
Part of this is true. Josh does not get the respect from refs that come with experience. Also, he does not work the refs very much at all or if so, too quietly. But some refs treat him fairly because they respect his integrity.

So where is the evidence that Cal working the refs would've changed anything today. That's his point, and it's a good one.

I have proof that Cal would not have made a difference.
Whenever Kentucky loses, their fanbase always blames the refs. Therefore, it's clear that Cal has no influence on the refs.

Doing nothing sure didn't help. I've definitely seen refs even things up after a coach really, really gets after them. So, I disagree.

Would have done no good today. This game was signed, sealed and delivered.

You're free to your opinion. This seems like hindsight armchair coaching though.
