I have a bad feeling he is going to go with Iowa. I really hope he goes us, as I think he would definitely be close to the "missing piece". However, he can make as many nice passes as he'd like, if we are still shooting like we are now it won't make much difference.

Is there a reason you think he is going to Iowa or just your gut? Hope he comes to UAB.

Dickerson went to High School in Queens NY, Los Angeles and Dallas. His next college will be his third. Kids that well traveled were common in the last coaches tenure.

Really hope we get him. Having him play point and moving Chad to the 2 would solve a lot of problems. If we get Trey I could see the starting lineup next year as:

Dickerson
Frazier
Brown
Washington
Mehinti

Bench would be: Lee, Calhoun, Cokely, Watts, Madison, Sullivan, Rideau, and one other player (hopefully a big).

I think that team would be a significant improvement.

There is no doubt that team would be significantly better than this one.

If he wants to run the point (and I'm not saying that's his primary goal), Iowa is not a good place for him, IMHO

This is great news. What can we do (as fans) to help him make his decision? Would a wave of excited tweets at him be something that would help? I really hopes he comes here...

It is against NCAA rules for a booster to tweet a recruit. A rule that has already been broken a few times this week.

Yea we really need a PG, we are forcing Frazier and Watts to play something they're really not used to. Would be a great recruiting job to land this one.

Does anyone else remember another God's Academy alum who "played" for the Blazers?

Our man that left UAB with the career lead in flying ass-bumps.

Actually it is not against NCAA rules to tweet or even talk to a recruit. It is against NCAA rules to attempt to persuade him to come to his or her school. If a coach or an athletic representative is entertaining a recruit it is not permissible to approach them. Just to clarify.

Thank you. I apologize for not being crystal clear. I hope no one was mislead by my careless post. I will further clarify that what I read on twitter was UAB attempting to pursuade the recruit to come to UAB.
