Won't be determined in one year. For example, Hudspeth's first class in 2011 had a number of true freshmen that played. That class has now won 3 straight bowl games and gone 27-12. No other class has come close in the Sun Belt since.

Help me out here - maybe I don't know what you are saying.

stAte has won 3 SBC championships ( tied for 1) won 2/3 bowls, won 28 games, and has beaten at top 25 team in the last 3 years. And has had ZERO coaching continuity.

What am I missing about no other Sun Belt class coming close?

Come close yes, sorry. Three championships, only on paper my friend because the Sun Belt doesn't have a tie-breaker. You didn't beat UL on the field. Three bowl wins in three years. Yes, that is close.

Yes, lets completely forget the fact that the SBC recognizes both of us, we won two of our last three meetings, and have won more games than you have in the last three seasons. You guys beat a few weak CUSA schools in bowls, so that makes you better.

So what was the ranking for each teams class within the SBC before both three year runs. Since this thread is about recruiting. I hope you both win all your OOC games next year. Especially Louisiana hell win them all we don't play you guys. The. Belt needs a ranked team plus you guys play BJC .

They've been able to put together teams that captured at least a portion of the conference championship the last three years. Very close second is UL with very consistent season outcome (9-4 including bowl wins) but only a portion of one conference championship.

The two big differences in the last three years that I see between our two teams.

1. We took two out of our three meetings.

2. The Cajuns have lost games to USA, ULM, and UNT in the last two years when they have really had a chance to earn a share of the title.

Valid factual arguments sir. Looking forward to next football season

I'm just trying to figure out the fascination with Mike Loteif and how it devolved from football to softball.

probably in a similar fashion to when Ga Southern and Ga State fans start to argue football, GA state fans usually start talking academics and being a research institution.

...and if the trend continues higher quality students based on SAT scores. Oh and a real campus, our own stadium (no temporary banners needed), less crackheads etc etc. Hey but glad so many folks that give two craps about GaState attend your graduate and doctorate programs because they are closer than uga's and or cheaper and easier to get into than GT's or Emory's. 05-stirthepot

It was a good one since he inserted the qualifiers closer, cheaper and easier into the comment. That, AND the fact that Georgia Southern didn't start offering Phd. programs until 2010. Keep trying....

I expect Ga $outhern will have an alum in the $10 billion+ category in 10 more years. Might have to combine the top 1,000 panther alums to catch up with our top 1. #Ga$outhernbusinessdegree

Ummmmm how long have you been a university bruh compared to us? Give us another 30 years of growing. No doubt we are catching you not losing ground at this point. You also know the BOR holds much of our future in their hands and you also not being GT or thUGA know they do everything to protect those schools first. Our incoming freshman have had higher SAT scores the last few years as well so we are already getting the same quality of student. There is no denying due to your location there will be a higher demand for masters and doctoral programs but that is due to location. Folks rarely pursuing a masters or doctorate can't really travel very far to do it as a good portion and or the majority are probably already working. Also that still does not change anything I said above. Given the choice I am going to Emory, Mercer, or GT for a masters or doctorate if nothing else to avoid having to play bum dodge and run from the crackhead every day on your pathetic excuse for a "campus".
