That's true because there were no illusions as to his ideology or his goals. He was pretty clear during the campaign what he wanted to do.

The issue of his birth location, Pastor Wright, and his time with Bill Ayers. That's really it (or that I can think of the top of my head). Everything else has been based to his policies and his regulations he's pushed through.

Bush was attacked for his drinking problem, he was attacked for an accusation of a cocaine habit, was accused of falsifying his military career. hell, he was attacked for being a business man and owning part of a baseball team.

It's pretty obvious however that a segment of this country dislikes him simply because he is black. I'm sure he knew that going in.

Bush was insulted, bashed, threatened, and hated on a daily basis, even called out by a racist black boy for being racist until Bush shut that piece of sh*t down. He endured way more hatred than obama.

And you do know that is factually and provably wrong, correct? The so called "independents" are now somewhere in the low 30's+- level of approval. Republicans have actually inched up a bit while dims, those who "like" him, have declined by 10 points or so in the last year. Even the rats are fleeing this sinking barge

His approval ratings are in the tank.

He was elected not once, but twice. What can we assume beyond the idea that there were people who used to like him who don't any more?

Basically the only times I think of Obama being black or half black is when I come onto one of these threads.
