My wife and I were/are extremely upset. If we sang a national song of another country in English we'd be considered arrogant and insensitive.

I did too. I don't think Lambeau Field should allow kids to run in it while the field is being maintained. Disrespectful indeed.

The coke commercial and the axe commercial were both in very poor taste in my opinion.

Heck, if they had picked ANY non-patriotic type song (aka, the "I'd like to teach the world to sing"), the commercial would have worked, but as was .. it was in very bad taste.

everyone would have their opinions on it, and you have to figure some would like it and some wouldn't.

I think it just continues to throw away the idea that America should always be a "melting pot", not just a "meeting place of different cultures". That's why I think if it had been any non-patriotic song, it would have worked perfectly.
