RE: Tigers still 22 in coaches poll
#22 Memphis beat #7 and #10 teams and lost to the #4 team, the #10 team, the #15 team and the #29th team.
#20 Creighton lost to the #5 team and unranked George Washington and an unranked Providence team and beat the #9 team.
Makes no sense.

RE: Tigers still 22 in coaches poll
UK up 3 to #11 - after beating awful Georgia and Texas A&M in Lexington. 4 losses (2 vs. unranked teams). Only good win vs. UL at home. Only other team with that number of losses higher is KU. KU has stronger resume, especially on the road however. Hilarious to hear media say things like "... this loss could impact UK's ability to make a run at the championship". Anyone else with this record and performance - laughable to suggest. They may not even win the SEC. They didn't even win the SEC last year, or make the NCAA - and lost big-time early in the NIT. Now with one "big" win at home and 4 losses, let's all figure out a way to get them in the national championship.

Kentucky is 1-3 in road games and 2-4 in total games away from home. They play at LSU and at Missouri this week so we will see.

I've been pretty unimpressed with LSU. Played UMass pretty well in a loss. Best win probably Butler by 2 in OT. Some bad losses though. Haven't seen Missouri play yet, but they beat ranked UCLA, but then they've lost to LSU, Vandy and Georgia (egads). Even on the road, UK has the talent and should beat both these teams, even with some mistakes. That said, even more so they should've beat Arkansas. Obviously, I hope they lose both games by 20+ - Ha Ha.

Just now able to finish my earlier thought. Pitt doesn't want any part of ND State.

LSU tends to put a lot of emphasis on the 3-point shot. Missouri had the longest home win streak in the nation until they lost to Georgia. They play pretty well at home.

There are definitely distinct variances in the pills vs. how the selection committee evaluates and seeds teams. Hopefully we'll do better with the latter.
Seems stregthening our schedule, beating 2 ranked teams away from home, and having 0 bad losses isn't any better than lg to 2 or 3 ranked teams, and then running CUDA. Looks like we're heading to a similar seed.

Dumb. Michigan State loses at home, and Kansas continues to beat one top 50 team after another, and drops from a 1 seed to a 2 seed, while Michigan State remains a 1 seed.
The one seeds right now would be Arizona, Syracuse, Kansas, and Wichita State
