Wasn't Cuomo elected to improve the lives of ALL New Yorkers?

He's painted himself in a corner, so that the only resolution is an independent Upstate NY or an all out fight. Good job moron.

I'm sure everyone has noticed that for the first time in our lifetime, New York is having to advertise their state. The latest commercial talks about giving businesses all kinds of tax breaks, including start-up loans.

This section from the article explains why.

I don't think you know of anything NY outside of Long Island (and that's giving you credit)

Most states promote their state for business.

I know the rural upstate areas are backward hicks. The same could be said of those in the southern part of Illinois. However, a majority of the populations are forward thinking people that see this country is becoming more diverse and you and your fellow hicks want to move it back 100 years because you feel threatened by diversity.

States don't normally advertise national campaigns until the start losing residents.

California did the same thing about 3 years ago.

Does it make you feel superior to call other people names? Hick is very derogatory term. But then again you are a liberal and they are the least tolerant and most hypocritical people on the planet.

Interesting that he said "Right-to-life". This isn't the typical phrase used when deriding pro-life supporters.

Of course if a conservative governor said that, it would be front page news all over the country. Liberal groups would be in overdrive with the strong arm of the media unleashing a full-on assault.
