Troy baseball stadium is nicer than UAB. Regions Park does not belong to UAB. The Barons are being nice enough to share it with UAB.

We will be the home team when we play there. If we're saddled with a dump like Legion Field, we get to claim the awesomenous of Regions Park.

No.
UAB was smart enough not to give up the land for the Park to the City without the Blazers being able to play there.
Locker rooms for UAB were on the drawing board from the very beginning of the process.

And our AD is on the board that oversees the facility. It was a UAB and Bham city partnership from the outset. I really am looking forward to attending some UAB baseball games there.

RE: Has Troy passed us in athletics?
Regions Field is the home field for UAB. We have our own locker rooms and, if it weren't for the UAB land swap, it would be on our campus.
Hopefully we'll be hearing about Blazer Booster access to suites and club level soon.

So some fans are willing to claim half and half with the city on Regions Field, but not willing to even think of sharing half and half with the city on a stadium? Even if it's built close to campus?

At this point in the game, almost anything is better than Legion Field, regardless of how the deal gets done.

Larry Blakeney has won 70 more games than he lost. Watson has lost 70 more games than he won. and curse you for making me defend Blakeney you .....
I meant in head to head games between UAB and Troy
This has nothing to do with other games.
it its only head to head games then why did you include Mcgee and Calaway? Watson has never played them.

He was comparing results of Brown, Callaway, and McGee vs Troy... all have coached against Blakeney.

Football yes... More bowls, more wins and we lead the series with UAB
Basketball no....
Baseball yes.... More NCAA appearances, much higher RPI year in and out, average 37 wins a year. ( I understand UAB has our # in baseball for whatever reason but the other success doesn't lie and Uab can't touch those numbers)
I would also like to point out we have better facilities.

Neither does it belong to the Barons, and Brian Mackin is on the board that oversees Regions Park.

Who said that? I don't think anyone would be against a Legion Field replacement partnership with the City. I don't want it to be another 70,000 seat cave, though.

I hope you mean football only, and it was pointed out earlier that athletics means more than football.

Yes, T-roy has a very nice smiley face silo, great pastures, and some nice barns. All in all, I love the drive there as it is very bucolic. Can't argue with you there...

Our basketball is every bit as nice if not nicer.... Baseball I've seen your facility. It's not even as close to as nice as ours.
