If it's your home stadium, it's your home stadium. You're an idiot. Is everyone who went to Troy as thick skulled as you? I'm starting to question whether I'd ever hire a Troy graduate now.

Sometimes. Please capitalize the name of my alma mater if you are going to post here. How do you like people coming to your place and stepping to Troy State?

So, is Legion Field UAB's home field or not?

Does UAB own it?

Answer my question.

Why can't you answer mine?

No, UAB does not own Legion Field.

Now will you answer mine?

I would rather have our on campus baseball stadium that we built with our money and have our brand all over it, than drive down the road to a stadium that Troy didn't build and share it with another program only to play 2nd fiddle.

UAB helped build Regions Field, and the AD is on the board. UAB doesn't play second fiddle.

Guess Memphis basketball is a failure, UCLA football is a failure, Alabama football was a failure until 2003.

You realize the land Regions is now on was part of UAB's campus about 3 years ago? I thought the question was who had the nicer facilities, not "guess how many facilities our university has paid for."

I would hire a Bama grad over a Troy. That should tell you all you need to know.

It's a nice 2 block walk though. Who doesn't enjoy a nice 2 block walk?

I always park near Bartow and walk over when I go to games at Regions. It's about the same distance from there to Regions as from there to the the baseball, softball, and soccer fields. Plus being "off campus" it has the advantage of having GPBC across the street. 04-cheers

You may play in Regions but its not listed as a UAB facility....I could not imagine your attendance looks good at Regions. I would rather play in our university owned facility that fits our team and fans needs.

A website that hasn't been updated recently?

We play all but 9 of our HOME baseball games at Regions Field. Our locker room there is green and gold, which happens to be our school's colors. That's an awful strange coincidence...

I guess the Barons can't claim it either. Regions Field was not built for the Barons. Birmingham was building it whether or not the Barons came along. Birmingham told them that if they didn't play there, that there were other teams interested in playing there.

So would I. Now, is Legion Field UAB's home field or not?

BTW, you can walk to Regions Park from Bartow Arena. Hell, you can throw a rock and hit it.
