I hope he didn't slam Joe1 too bad. Otherwise, he might get a private message and a challenge to a fist fight.

Dude, I didn't challenge you to a fist fight. You were bringing up my wife man, in a way that most men would want to defend their wife. I never said lets fight. I think you are angry and odd. But, hey, I would appreciate it if you would not bring up my wife anymore. I don't think it is cool. It makes you look small and low class man.

Who brought their 9 year old onto the message board, looking for vindication?
And, I am small and low class???

Not sure what you are getting at, but what would have your expectations been at this point in the season.
I would assume you think Memphis wins the 9 bobo games and beats LSU, yes?
So, right off the bat, you have Memphis with 10 wins.
For the remaining six, 2 road, 2 home 2 neutral--what would you expect?
What Stammers posted (the way I took it) wasn't that Memphis IS one of the best 10 teams in the country, just that all other games outcome the same, IF Memphis holds home court then they are sitting at 14-2, which would likely have them about 6th in the polls and probably a 2 seed in most mock brackets.
Out of the 7 games, I include LSU because I think they are pretty good, would be 3-4.
And, considering that Cincy and UConn are better than what I thought a couple of months ago, 3-4 would have been about the best.
I am curious...were you one of the guys harping on 0-13?
What difference does it make if he was ?
Bluto...I didn't see this post earlier.
If someone was saying 0-13, we can't beat anyone good, why would that same person (with that mindset), be shocked at our current record? Why would that same person think we should be 14-2 and looking at a #2 seed?
Do you see my point?

I'll bring my wife into a thread if I choose but you don't get that privilege. You referenced his wife and kids. Shame on you.
Smack forum stuff.
If he can't handle it, he shouldn't go there and engage.

Two or so games into aac play and the tune here had changed drastically. Glad you guys finally caught up to reality. Lmao
We have a winning record in the AAC Genius.......and has won 75% of his games this season...
Transitt, we have to protect our home court. Winning at home is a must.
I don't disagree but good Lord people are overreacting to this loss.
They overreact to every loss. When we run into a team that shoots 57% from the field and 80% FT's we have to do everything right.
We didn't rebound well enough or get enough steals to get into any kind of transition game.

Taking Nichols out and putting in the 4 guard line up, 2 with 4 fouls, led to 3 straight buckets in the paint for Uconn taking the lead from 1 point to seven in less than a minute.
That cost us the game.
That's not overreacting. It's fact.

A very opportunistic stat though.
Cinny is ranked in the top 20 now and Uconn has been ranked almost all year long.

Yeah - unranked*
*at the time
Doesn't mean so much if you look at it in perspective vs technicalities

Imagine the outcry if MEMPHIS' two losses had been to two of Louisiana Tech, Mississippi, and Providence. I bet that would bring the wolves howling.
Or imagine if MEMPHIS had started the AAC slate losing to SMU and Houston down in Texas.
Lots of basketball left, as I have said in my two earlier posts in this thread.
