Where is ECU? SJ says they had a better season, and like Marshall, only lose a few key players. It only stands to reason that ECU would be ranked higher.

Eh.. Ohio State way too high. Alabama loses too much, they're too high. Baylor might be too low. Notre Dame too high. UCF ranked too high. Utah St should be ranked. Marshall, admittedly, too high. Clemson sans Boyd shouldn't be ranked. Duke too low.

I didn't say it, the Associated Press, RPI, Sagarin, Bingsly, Coley, Wolf, Massey, Hester and Anderson and about 100 other pollsters said it. This is one sports writer probably projecting your joke schedule next year.
Oh hey and his EMPLOYER CBS Sports rated us 24th THIS YEAR ( you were #33), not some hypothetical opinion next year from one individual writer LMAO.

Here we go again.......certain Marshall posters trying to win Cusa Championships and top rating on paper. Win a Cusa Championship and THEN AND ONLY THEN will someone will take you seriously. Please show some knowledge and remember ECU overall record against Marshall: 10-5 and 6-3 (Two Cusa Championships). That is an one-sided 67% ECU winning record. I bet most level headed MU posters would agree......win first and post second.

I don't think Auburn is a flash in the pan. I'd be shocked if they fell off. Pretty much all the players on that team are built for that system. If Marshall could just become average throwing the ball, they are going to be incredibly difficult to beat.
I could see Bama struggling early with a new QB though.

I think it's somewhere in the middle. All of our games have been competitive, with the exception of the most recent (as far as I can remember, could be wrong). We have scoreboard now, handily, and I don't care but that counts for a lot more than what has happened in the past. I wouldn't say ECU nor Marshall has "owned" the other one. UCF "owned" Marshall while they were in CUSA just like we "owned" them in the MAC years. Every game has been entertaining with ECU. With that being said, ECU has been the better program 05-13. There isn't any question. I'm just saying when it's ECU-Marshall, nothing is a given.
Also-somebody must take us seriously. We got 17 votes in the AP poll and Dennis Dodd ranked us 25th.

He's talking about Auburn's Nick Marshall.

And he still has room to improve. Cato has some mechanical issues he will need to straigthen out if he wants to be a good NFL QB. But he will kill CUSA next season.

Doc Holliday is a voter in the coaches poll. When these new ballots come out it will be interesting to see how many of those votes are from him Bayliff, Stockstill, McCarney etc who had a vested interest in making you look good. That's the draw back from this poll compared to the others where all these people work together, many are friends, and personal conference interest as well.

Does it matter? I don't know what role the AP Poll will play in the new playoff system but it had no role in the BCS system.
Why must you be an azz?

Because you're not correcting anyone. What the poster stated wasn't incorrect. It is a Dennis Dodd/CBS poll. Not a Coaches, AP, Massey or whatever the name of the other services you mentioned.

It's Dennis Dodd who works for CBS Sports with a personal projection of next year. CBS Sports itself ranked our season #24 this year (Marshall #33). Separate things, and if someone wants to call me out I'm going to point it out.

Right next year, so what does this season has to do with anything? Like you said, separate things. So it's about you being an azz. It always has to be about you. When are you going to stop being an azz? When you get banned?
