RE: I'm old
If you really want to feel old, consider that Full House first came on the air 27 years ago, Family Matters 25 years ago, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air 24 years ago (RIP James Avery, who passed away in the last 24 hours) and that Ace Ventura and Dumb and Dumber were released 20 years ago. And I'm still a young guy, yet can't fathom that any of my childhood favorite pop culture memories being that dated.

Yeah, time flies. One of the Olsen twins who played the infant on Full House dated Lance Armstrong a couple of years ago. And my kids are watching a Full House rerun as I type this.

Could have been worse. It could have been the WFL. Shreveport Steamer anyone? Jacksonville Sharks? Birmingham Americans?

Want to feel old? Lou Holtz was talking about how Johnny Manziel reminded him of Roger Staubach and I knew what he was talking about. While I don't remember Staubach playing for Navy in 1963, I do remember when he took over QB duties for the Cowboys.
Since guys are naming movies, here are some I remember from 50 years ago, though I was in grade school (and yes, I remember what I was doing when I heard Kennedy had been shot):
Mary Poppins
Seven Days in May
Marnie
A Shot in the Dark
Fail Safe
Hush, Hush, Sweet Charlotte
Cheyenne Autumn
Ensign Pulver
Becket
Dr. Strangelove
So don't talk to me about Old until people start asking if you've had your prostate checked lately.

You guys aren't old, lol. I remember watching the original "Creature form the Black Lagoon" in our local theater, when it debuted in 1954. It scared the crap out of me. Many years later, the rubber suit on the "Creature" looked laughable.
I remember watching Dolph Schayes play on TV for the Syracuse Nats in the NBA, in the early '50s. He was the first LeBron James, 6'8" and could play inside or out.

I have those check ups regularly, and I remember wearing coonskin caps and singing Davy Crockett and dreaming about Annette F. from Mickey Mouse when I turned it in for the night. Then thank God Gilligan's Island came around and those dreams of an older young man turned to Dawn Wells. I did "Duck and Cover Drills". How about you ZW?

Hey brother stick around a few more decades and keep me feeling a bit younger. You had some great baseball years in there for sure.

I'm not ZW, but I went through all that, too. Annette F. was my first TV crush.

How many millions of American men have fantasized about those two?

Don't forget Farrah Fawcett and her famous 1976 poster, which is now 38 years old.

LOL, point taken.
But I honestly meant any red-blooded male -- regardless of whether they are still in our midst today -- who ever saw them on TV.

Every other dorm room had that poster when I was in school.
I actually saw Hard Days Night when it first came out (I had older sisters and my parents made them take me with them to the drive in-for the younger ones who haven't watched "Happy Days" or "That 70s Show" its an outdoor theater where you park your car by a receiver and watch the movie-a giant parking lot with a movie screen).
