We'd contend for the conference with him. We might anyway. He certainly would help us.

With him and Sampson we might be a tournament team. The 7 guys we have are talented and play with so much heart but we just don't have enlightened size or bodies.

Actually, I'm surprised at the lack of total fouls called. Only 12 on ECU for the game and 5 on NCSt. Then again, when you look at the stats, as much as they are both shooting from outside instead of driving to the basket and shooting, you're gonna naturally have fewer fouls called. Looks like the refs are letting them play.

Those 2 I should. If I still had twitter I'd say the worst things I could think of to those 2 quitters.

Well, they are calling fouls on one end of the court.

You can not tell me State has only committed 6 fouls the entire game, that's pure bovine excrement.

They didn't have Vanderberg when they lost to NC Central. That guy is legit. He will be problems for a lot of teams.

NCSU has had 7 fouls called on them in this whole game. Not a half, but the whole game. ECU is driving a lot, but not getting any calls.

It's now 14 fouls on ECU and 9 on NCSt.

These guys have nothing but guts and fight. Damn proud of them.

I can't say enough good things about the guys we have, and I couldn't hate those quitters more.

ECU played a tough game, but home court advantage, which in basketball is considerable, was the difference today.

This season is just the rough where diamonds are made, IMO.

I don't think you can really blame Sampson. The guy didn't want to be here anymore and left, it happens. He gave us 3 years and plenty of notice to get a replacement last spring. Armstrong is the one that is irritating because he up and quits after the school year had already started.

When a coach runs a player off of a team, we don't call that kid a punk; we just say that he was not good enough to play for that coach. So it is not fair to call a kid a punk who decides to leave a team on his own accord to pursue what he wants to do.

We didn't call "6'11" 250 pound Kolo a punk when Lebo didn't want him at ECU; so why should "6'9" 250 pound Armstrong and "6'9 230 pound Sampson be considered punks when they no longer wanted to be at ECU. That is a serious double standard and totally unfair considering that all of them could have been on the teams this season, except for the fact that the coach made a decision on one guy and two guys made a decision on their own.

Armstrong quit to chase a girl, he's a punk. Sampson quit because his mom and uncle convinced him he was too good for ECU and should be playing the 3, he's a punk as well. I have nothing nice to say about those 2. Long term we'll be better because other guys got the minutes those 2 would have, but for this year it's a killer.
