Yeah, that's why we demolished attendance records 2 years in a row and we are the #1 choice by the NO Bowl. Look forward to playing you and hope yet another attendance record is broken.

While I've never been to a game where Tech has played ULL, I've never heard anything positive about them from my ULM friends. I imagine the NOLA Bowl is just gonna end up being a pissing match over their deplorable agenda of being called a fictional university in order to assert themselves as a flag ship of a university system that does not have a flag ship. I just hope Tulane wins big, big, big.

You have fans willing to leave rural Louisiana for a bowl game. Lots of fans. Lots of fans in New Orleans and Baton Rouge too. Grats.
That said, those fans are not popular with ULM, LSU, Tulane, etc. school fanbases. At all.

Last year's Cajun-ECU game ranked 16th attendance-wise out of 35 bowls. I hope this year, with these two teams, the N.O. Bowl can break into the top 10 in attendance.
It's possible. Last year's #10 was the Music City Bowl with 55,801 in attendance. The N.O. Bowl had 48,828.
As for the comments about the Cajun fans, I've read some of the threads on last year's game with ECU. From what I recall, the comments by ECU fans were generally very favorable of the Cajun fans.

Congrats Tulane glad to see your success this year. I'm confident that the Green Wave will bring a good crowd just like the Cajuns did the first time we attended the NOB. Looking forward to the game should be fun. Too bad the La Tech fans can't just be happy that two in-state schools are playing each other. Anyway congrats again good luck. One last thing the ECU fans were some of the best fans I've every met. They were so good that you were the idiot if you talked smack to them.

How are they going to cook in the Dome parking lot where it's illegal?

I went to the ULL/ULM game. after ULM thoroughly kicked ULLs arse, the handful of ULM fans were cheering when their team came over. ULL fans began taunting them about not going to a bowl. It was the most tasteless reaction to a loss. One thing ULL fans don't do is act like they have been there. I have never been so happy to see a team get beat.. Even as hard as it was for a Tech fan to pull for ULM I loved every minute of it.

I have ZERO idea as to how tailgating will work for this game. Too many people to get parking spots. If they don't let us tailgate on a garage top my friends and I plan to neutral ground tailgate where we go for Saints games.

I watched that unfold, but I think that's more of a problem with the student section being placed directly alongside the visiting team section. I also witnessed the same tasteless behavior from unprovoked ULM fans, but it is what it is.
Anyways, congrats on the turnaround season Tulane, and I look forward to the game.

Perhaps some day UL will be as prestigious as LaTech and then our fans won't look down on others around them.

Yet you keep sniffing around at what we have. CUSA membership. But why not stay where you are so you can rack up enough SB wins. But note not all SB wins and get your yearly spot in the NO Bowl.

Interesting that you mention sniffing. There's a strong smell of fear in so many of these Cajun-related posts.

This is something I've never understood. Why would you want an instate school other than your own to do well? I've said before and will say again I hope every school in the state of Louisiana other than Tech goes 0-12 every single year. Whether you're LSU, ULL, ULM, Tulane, or Tech, we are all competing against each other for fans, money, students, and recruits in some form or fashion and I'm not going to cheer for someone to take away from my university. That's the whole reason LSU works so hard to hard keep us all down. It's why Tech didn't get LSU-S or the LSU Health Center in Shreveport. They'd rather burn it to the ground than let someone else use it and benefit the state.
Sorry for the rant.
