Nothing new as these two are the only ones with traveling fans. I have a feeling it's going to be an ECU vs. Maryland rematch from 2010. Military Bowl would love to have us again.

Yeah any projection that had anyone other than ECU or Marshall in the Military Bowl wasn't living in reality.

Going to be an obscure situation if somehow Rice pulls off the upset.

Unless ECU gets the Belk, which then I guess its not a big deal.

But for my own personal gain I wouldn't care to go to the BOB bowl in Tampa, any chance to go to Florida, I'm all for it. The players and lots of other fans I'm sure have a different perspective on that.

If Marshall comes out against Rice like they did against us, they'll be in Memphis. Rice can win but they will -and should be- the underdog.

Even more reason to pull for Marshall. I'd much rather have the Military Bowl.

We owe Maryland some payback for that game. Especially, when they ran up the score.

I don't want to go to that crap Maryland bowl. I hate Maryland, I hate their fans, I hate that the bowl is basically a home game for them. There's 33k seats and I'm sure ECU fans would get like 5 of them......... I want 'Cuse or Pitt in Florida.

ECU needs a bowl win. Maryland is not a good matchup for the Pirates. ECU vs Syracuse or Pitt would be matchup the Pirates could win.

UNT to HoD bowl then?

Do people think the Military Bowl wants a redo of their 2010 matchup?

38k went, but I am not sure which way it would go being we played each other previously AND being in Annapolis this year.

Sagarin has ECU #55 and Maryland #71 and that's with 4 common opponents (NCSU, VT, ODU, FIU). Based on that, mixed with the disappointment of last year's bowl loss and last week's loss at Marshall, makes me think we come out firing on all cylinders and win this thing (if it were to happen, that is).

Are you thinking we don't match up well in terms of style or positional strengths/weaknesses? I haven't followed Maryland too closely this year.

A 2010 rematch is like talking about a 1999 rematch. Too long ago. If it was last year, it would matter, but it's not so it doesn't. I'm rooting for a Marshall win to secure us a spot in St Pete.

It is being rumored that ECU has been told they are going to the Belk Bowl. It is all over the internet, so I think we all can agree it is true.

How many fans do Marshall and ECU usually bring to bowl games? I know for MT our sales have been extraordinary.
