I'm a tad bit worried about Kuran and Nick. They did not look as hype as the rest of the bench after the game

Nice win Tigers! Was very concerned midway through the 2nd half. Sure wish we could have landed O'Bryant - he's a load to handle inside.

Gotta admit, I really wasn't concerned. I had a good feeling we would pull it out. I suppose that's what actually believing in your team does. We should do it more often.

We are a much better half court team than we thought, thanks to the the post play of Austin and Shaq.... If we continue to slow the ball down and execute on every possession we will get a top 25 win. Good teams like OKState want to see a press, they have great open court players that can take it to the rim, stop and pop open 3's once the press is broken. Playing fast want be the key to beating OKState We need to take a page from the Grizzlies of last year and "Grind" out a win like today.

Pastner has to play experience where he has it in a close game. King and Iverson will both be great Tigers and will get their minutes. Nichols starts because we don't have another experienced big with the skills he has.

Them nor Woodson didn't look happy. Nick's hustling and scrappy mentality will carry him through the hard times and I'm sure Woodson knows he needs to work on his body in order to play more.
Iverson is another story. Anybody else a little scared of him being an early transfer candidate? He doesn't look happy and he seems to have a bit of an attitude when he is in the huddle, sent to the bench or receiving instruction. He strikes me as someone who isn't really interested in being a role player until he gets better (like I think you could sell Nick King on just being a garbage man for a year) and just thinks he should be playing now.

I thought we would pull it out, too. Posted early, even when we were down, that I thought we would win. Stayed positive and watched the meltdown on here during the game.
Difference is, I didn't lecture all the negative guys in here throughout the game, like you did. Dude, we were playing like crap. This is a message board. People are going to be negative, just like any other board when their team is playing badly, and losing while favored.
You can't force everyone on here to react the same way you do. They have a right to post, too, as long as they follow the rules.

Absolutely. Have been turned off by his attitude since the day he proclaimed he wanted to go to Kentucky, but he fell back on the Tigers. Seems to be someone who is more concerned with his status come June than he is with the team and getting better.

Oh, no. I don't think that everyone should believe like I do. But if they whine and complain, then I can call them out on it just as well. It's worthy of an eyeroll when people:
1. Only post when we're down
2. Only post berating/bashing/hateful posts
Just annoying. But they most certainly have the right to post it.

I hate to be judgmental, but I think it's simple. Kuran believes he is the best player in this class, because he was once called the best player in the class. He fell off because he didn't work hard enough and Jabari Parker and many others passed him up. I'd guess he believed that those rankings were wrong and he is still the best, most NBA-ready player in the class. Now, he's a limited role-player because he's just not that good yet, it's hurting his (non-existent) draft stock and he's not happy.
I hope he snaps out of it, because with hard work and a good attitude, I believe he can be the best player in the Memphis 2013 class. As of now though, he looks like someone who is waiting for the world to be handed to him rather than going to get it.
