This one is a h.s. coach who just resigned for "family reasons".

Bob,
Is your son doing a paper in school: "The Effects of Social Media on Inter-Collegiate Athletics Decision Making: Does Fan Input Matter?"
How I would design this little 'experiment' is to put out a name which absolutely has zero chance of being selected, e.g., a high school coach, esp. one who isn't a coach at an absolute power house and then try to build a case in social media and see if the traditional print media (e.g., Detroit News, Detroit Free Press, etc.) will pick up on it and write: " there has been some speculation about..."
If not that, were you and Ron Adams drinking buddies at EMU?
Or are you try to recruit candidates for alumni relations director and somehow posted it on a sports forum while...

Yeah, right is that why I am a fan of NU and EMU (Where is my dam Crown Royal)?
Yeah, I am the Bo Jackson of college football. "Bo Knows"
If what I am reading on our board about 12/15 being the day that we will hear a announcement of our new Head Coach, I am like a kid waiting for Santa to come..
This pick will dictate the next 20 years of EMU football.. Heather, please get it right..

I used to eat lunch with Ron Adams in the dining commons. His usual dining fare was a tray full of Dannon yogurt and multiple glasses of milk.
I'll say this for Ron Adams... He was a good college quarterback who was tough as nails and did whatever he had to to win games while being one of the most normal guys you could ever meet.

It would be good to have him employed within EMU athletics in say a staff position.

I don't do Crown Royal and I don't give up anything for Lent, but EMU FB is a form of self-mortification for me in September, October, and November. And certainly December, i.e., no bowl game.
Hopefully the self-mortification in men's basketball is ending and maybe, in time, football too.
Yes, this is a critical hire!!

On the bright side he cannot be any worse then English.
Or Genyk or Woodruff or Rasnick or Cooper. The likelihood of any coach winning is slim...might as well have someone we know, like, and respect to lead the program.
We might as well close the program down then. To quote Herm Edwards: “We play to win the game!”.
I agree with WolverineEagle: If we aren't going 100% to get a coach to win, don't throw money down the rat hole.
P.S. NO ONE, including BobW himself, takes his suggestion of Ron Adams seriously. I don't EVER remember a h.s. coach becoming a FBS HC. Any other have contrary information or recollection?
Is there a 'tongue in cheek' emoticon???
Gerry Faust from Cincinnati Moeller HS...took over the most hallowed program in America and then did pretty well at Akron.
and was mediocre (at best) at ND and maybe ' mediocre or fair' at Akron.

I don't know high school football too well, but Wyandotte Roosevelt isn't Cincy Moeller. I believe Moeller used to be one of the best h.s. programs in the COUNTRY. It was a powerhouse. I believe most of the powerhouse programs are now in the south and California.

FYI, John Banaszak has been promoted to Head Coach at Robert Morris (previous header retired).
Ken can cross him off his wish list.

Your Personal Top Three Football Candidates Ranked in Order and Why
Tired of us posters discussing all of our names. It would be nice if we had Lyke's list. Her's is the only list that matters. I expect that there are interviews this week. We need someone to leak some good info to us.
