You are right, Dims are just opening the door for Republicans to do the same thing when they get in power. All of which is not good for the country. We need to go back to when the Gov.s of states appointed Senators.

I'm all for the State appointed Senators, but wasn't it the State legislature that made the appointment? Can't look right now.

Funny you should mention Yucca Mountain, every day they block the completion and use of Yucca Mountain, they are breaking the law. Another law Emperor Zero decided not to enforce because they did not like it.

The current situation was broken. There have been nearly as many filibusters under Obama years as there were during the previous 200 years combined.

The Democrats, however, will regret making this change as soon as the Republicans take back control of the Senate. The minority now has no protection from tyranny of the majority. The Democrats can now confirm any left wing nutcase and the Republicans can confirm tea party wingbats. Bad day for America.

Maybe the good people of Nevada will make that idiot regret it.

If not, when the Republicans retake the senate next year he can go back to crying about protecting the minority party.
