We’re what—-4 or 5 variants removed from the original? Maybe it’s time to design a more updated so called “vaccine” rather than trying to use same ole Wuhan dose that’s becoming less and less effective with each new variant. I think this “vaccine” has reached retirement age.

They are working on it but the virus is evolving. Sometimes the science has to catch up..

Here we go again with the mind tricks using percentages. Let's assume everyone in Australia except 1000 are vaccinated. Then you'd have 99%+ deaths will be among those vaccinated. All the other stats will be 99%+ among those vaccinated as well. When 90%+ of the population is vaccinated, you'll clearly have a major skewed effect in the data when using percentages. You can't interpret data based on percentages the same way as you do per capita data, which is conveniently hid from us. That's where the real story is told.

What is with this continued obsession with covid vaccinations. It's to the point now if you're still trying to fight that lost battle, you REALLY have issues.

If you really didn't or don't understand what I'm trying to explain to you, and truly fell for that mind trick, then this is another classic example of how they (the GREED) brainwash people like you into submission. Questions require question marks idiot. The issue is that as time lapses it becomes increasingly evident that those who chose to get jabbed did so at a higher risk to themselves than their beloved governments and worldwide authorities led them to believe. How many times have you bent over for the genetic manipulations of our government and medical administrators?

Also, what about this confused you? " Percentage of COVID 19 cases, hospitalizations, ICU admissions, and deaths in NSW, Australia by vaccination status..." It's not about percentages of total population fool, it's about percentages of those criteria of people who HAVE and people who HAVE NOT been vaccinated. Clearly the percentages are higher among the latter group than the former. It's clear by the graph that vaxxed people are experiencing all those events at a much higher rate than the unvaxxed.

What that should tell you is that the "vaccines" are largely and grossly ineffective at protecting those who receive them from the effects of the illness.

Makes more sense new versions are being released since we ARE at war. Not a coincidence that at the same time drugs that appear to be prescription on the street actually have poison in them to kill people rather than get them hooked and addicted.

Without having data on the total population, it's impossible to meaningfully interpret the data from what is coming into the hospital.

Let's use numbers closer to real world here to help you understand.

Let's say Australia has 100 million people. 90% are vaccinated. So 90 million vaccinated and 10 million unvaccinated.

Now let's say being vaccinated cuts your chances of being hospitalized in a month by 50%. So you go from a 0.1% chance of being hospitalized being unvaccinated to a 0.05% chance by being vaccinated. That is cutting your chance in half. 0.1%/2 = 0.05%

Still following me? Now let's apply this to the whole population since it's the whole population using the hospital system in a month.

90000000*0.0005 = 45000 vaccinated cases
10000000*0.001 = 10000 unvaccinated cases

In that month the hospital system would be flooded with 45,000 vaccinated covid cases, and 10,000 unvaccinated cases despite the fact that those who are vaccinated are 50% less likely to get covid. This is because the vaccinated population is 9 times greater than the unvaccinated population.

Here are the percentages using ONLY hospital data:

Percent vaccinated = 45000/(45000+10000)= 81.8%
Percent unvaccinated = 10000/(45000+10000)= 18.2%

See how misleading that is despite the fact vaccinated people are just half as likely to be hospitalized as unvaccinated people? It's the basic fact that anything is possible if you make the pool of chances large enough. And with only using hospital data, we have no idea how large that pool is outside the hospital.

Now ask yourself, would you rather have a 1 in 1000 chance (0.001%) of being hospitalized by being unvaccinated or a 1 in 2000 (0.05%) by being vaccinated? If you are a naive fool and only use the hospital percentages you'll think you have 4 times the chance of being hospitalized by getting vaccinated. If you're smart and look at the per capita numbers, you'll realize you're 50% less likely to be hospitalized by being vaccinated.

You just laid out a plethora of calculations over 3 or 4 paragraphs. Before I read that and try to take your numbers seriously, I simply asked you a simple question that would have taken 5% of the response you actually spent typing out.

ITs simple, all I asked for was a number with a percent sign behind it.

It's a little tricky because the article starts with "nearly 90% are vaccinated", but during the time the data in the chart was collected, that number was around 80%. So at best, the vaccine makes no difference at all.

Exactly, if we were to assume that exactly 90% of the population was vaccinated and that 10% wasn't, the study could possibly show that the vaccine has a small benefit in terms of death (90% of the population contributes 80% of the deaths, 10% of the population contributes 20% of the deaths). Since the number of vaccinated is lower than 90% (possibly as low as 80%), however, it shows that the vaccine is doing very little if anything at all.

And no, the study does not show that 20% of unvaccinated who contracted the virus are dying while 80% of those vaccinated are.

The article stated that this is a bit tricky, since in Australia those that had only one jab are considered unvaccinated. They are only counting those with at least two jabs as vaxxed.

The graph is a little weird because:

1. You have the unvaxxed case in green
2. Next to it you have hospitlizations and ICU's, which are lower as a percent of case load vs vaxxed
3. You have a slightly higher rate in deaths as compared to the rate of icu/hospitlization

Its hard to rationalize #2 and #3 without something else going on. Were unvaxxed sometimes not allowed to be hospitalized and/or put in ICU? Or did some unvaxxed people die at home for some other reason, where shown to have had covid, and was marked as a covid death?

To me, the graphs are essentially saying that the vaccine was largely ineffective against infection (perhaps even increased the chances of getting Covid), made virtually no difference in the chances of needing hospitalization or ICU care--but did appear make a very small difference in your chances of actually dying from Covid. Since the vaccine seems to make you more likely to get Covid---and slightly less likely to die from Covid----there would appear to be almost no real value to the vaccine at this point from the point of view of the broader population (the 5% increase in total Covid cases would offset the 5% better chance of not dying--meaning your total deaths probably wouldnt change much one way or the other).

Something that hasnt been considered---its very possible that MOST of the people who are "unvaccinated" may have chosen that path because the already had Covid and survived---thus they already have a substantial level of immunity. If thats the case---that might change the way we should view these numbers.
