After this weekend, his PFF grade bumped up to 5th best among CB this year.

Meanwhile, Darrick Forrest jumped up to an 81 PFF grade, which puts him in the Top 5 of safeties as well.

Bearcats and their ranks:
Travis Kelce: 90.7 Grade (#1 TE)
Sauce Gardner: 81.2 Grade (#5 Primary CB)
Darrick Forrest: 81.0 Grade (#5 Safety)
Jason Kelce: 79.5 Grade (#2 Center)
Alec Pierce: 62.5 Grade (Unranked)
Coby Bryant: 57.0 Grade (Unranked)
Chris Moore: 55.7 Grade (Unranked)

Marquise Copeland: 78.1 Grade (non-qualified)
Josiah Deguara: 69.9 Grade (non-qualified)
James Hudson: 68.8 Grade (non-qualified)
Eric Wilson: 61.4 Grade (non-qualified)
Bryan Cook: 59.3 Grade (non-qualified)
Myjai Sanders: 54.4 Grade (non-qualified)
Mike Boone: 54.3 Grade (non-qualified)

For reference, the PFF Grades basically breakdown like this:
85-99 = All-Pro level season, one of the best players in the NFL
75-85 = One of the best players at a specific position, Pro-Bowl level season
65-75 = Above Average season
50-65 = Average season
35-50 = Below Average Season
1-35 = Poor Season/Release Predictor

In order to have your grade "qualified" you must have played at least 50% of your team's "meaningful" snaps for the season. PFF grades each play on a -2 to +2 scale based on negative or positive impact on the play result by the given player. Most of the time, very few people get out of the -.5 to +.5 range, as that means they either had no discernable impact or that impact was roughly the level that an average player would have. Each game score is then tabulated to a percentage of positive/negative impact by overall plays involved in and that percentage equals both a player's game score and overall season grade. They also break down most players by types of plays (Using Sauce, Coverage, Pass Rush, and Run Support) so as to better determine what every player is good at.

Sauce, Coby, Forrest, Wiggins, Bryan Cook, Ja'Von Hicks.... how did anyone pass on us in 2020?
We're watching a UC player become an NFL star in quicks real time...

James Hudson also completely killed a Bengal last night in primetime.

That Bengal is Akeem Davis-Gaither.

Seems to me like it was Gaither screwing up more than Hudson being awesome.

Gaither wasn't paying attention and was the 2nd to last guy to react to the snap (the only one who waited longer was the weakside corner who was responsible for protecting against a reverse). He didn't realize a guy 89 lbs heavier than him was in motion and coming right at him until it was too late to do anything about it.

All of that is to say that Hudson still murdered a human being on a football field on Monday...thank you for confirming 03-lmfao
04-cheers
Hudson will crack the lineup as a starter possibly as early as next season. Browns are going to have cap space issues with D. Watson's giant salary kicking in Year Two of his deal. Hudson showed he could hold down the fort when Conklin was out earlier in the season at RT. We have three dudes on the line making huge money - Joel Bitonio, Wyatt Teller and Jack Conklin. Something's got to give and it won't be JB who is NFL all-world.
sauce picked allen. that's sawsome. kelce...
Bearcat in the NFL related: Frank Reich fired in Indianapolis.

Plus, Hudson was in motion. Gaither was standing still. Of course he’s going to get blasted.

Travis Kelce Launches Health and Wellness Endowment for UC Student-Athletes
The Eighty-Seven & Running Foundation will help fund a Psychology and Counseling Department for Cincinnati Athletics
November 09, 2022

(CINCINNATI, OH – Nov. 9, 2022) – Kansas City Chief and former Cincinnati Bearcat, Travis Kelce has announced that his Eighty-Seven & Running Foundation will make a substantial contribution to the University of Cincinnati Athletics Department by launching a Health and Wellness Endowment for Bearcats student-athletes.

The endowment will fund Cincinnati's Sports Psychology and Counseling Department, directly impacting and aiding all 450 student-athletes at Kelce's alma mater, expanding the staff and personnel for Director of Sports Psychology Lenecia Nickell in the process.

The grant ensures that all UC student-athletes will have permanent access to the care and services needed to be mentally and physically strong, confident and resilient.

"During my time at UC I developed a solid infrastructure of people around to help me navigate through daily life as a student-athlete," said Kelce. "The transition from high school to college was a difficult one; it was an emotional rollercoaster at times dealing with my academic responsibilities and holding my own on the field. There was little to no room for error in the classroom and on the field. Being able to have that support system in place is part of the reason why I decided to start this Endowment and give back to my alma mater and its athletic department. I'm at a place in my career where I'm able to share my experiences and lend resources to provide the university's student-athletes with the assistance they need to become the best versions of themselves they can be."

Based on how endowments work regarding annual disbursements within the State of Ohio, this commitment likely has six zeroes behind it when it is all said and done.

Just looking at the box score, it looks like Forrest had a very good game. He is quietly having a very good year.

That's an understatement...PFF has him in the Top 5 of safeties for the year.
The Bearcats are taking over the NFL.
