I will say B12 didn’t seem to care if the CFP took the top 6 champs of whatever league. B12 likes their odds.
AAC and PAC are not a lock for that deal, they feel like they need a personalized engraved guaranteed CFP invite.

Is that supposed to make me feel bad? Look as much as I would like USF to go to the Big12 because as I have said repeatedly it’s the best deal possible for any of our schools in the AAC, it doesn’t affect my support for my school. But even if USF went into Big12 my feelings about where that conference stands in the Power conferences wouldn’t change.

Now they sing a different tune since the school finally said they are looking to build one.
You’ll notice usf fans propping up the ACC in recent weeks. You may ask why since its fairly irrelevant to the AAC. Then it makes sense when you consider that “The Big12 will fail and usf will be ready for the ACC” as the only possible coping mechanism left when UCF is heading to the adult table and Rice and Charlotte are coming over for dinner.
In summary:
Big12 = ucfs cheap and no good on campus stadium that usf doesnt have and therefore doesnt want.
ACC = the on campus behemoth that usf is destined to have one day that will put UCFs crumbling situation to shame

So here we go. So tell me where did I ever mentioned the ACC and USF?
As I have repeatedly said on this thread.
1. The Big12 even in its new incarnation is better deal for any AAC school including USF.
2. USF has only itself to blame for the situation it is in and why the invitation didn’t come.
3.UCF deserves that invite because of their success, so congrats.
The difference is that I don’t feel doom and gloom because UCF got the invite and USF did not. I’m sure you know how that felt for some of your fans when it was USF going to Big East.
So nothing ever remains the same, but it’s up to USF and only USF to go to work and get back on track. I feel very comfortable in what is happening in our school and football program that USF will be just fine.
Now the funny thing is that all of these attacks on me and USF’s records are from posters that can’t accept any opinion that doesn’t fit their lollipops and cotton candy that the new Big12 is all that and a bag of chip.
